She saw her cousin coming over. She didn't know what to say or do they were holding hands and that would be to soon. It is too soon.
Tristan saw her cousin and waved his fingers. He let go of her hand, figuring it would be weird on the first date to do thst, or in her cousins eyes anyway.
She just meant him. This was like Romeo and Juliet. It would end badly for her.
((Maybe he could ask out on another date and she says no he gets upset))
((Oh ok))Tristan randomly turns to Vanessa. "You wanna do this again? Hang out, i mean. We dont have to go surfing."
((Yep))"Um no I don't think that would be a good idea." She said. She didn't look at him.
"Because...." She trailed off.
"Just because." She said looking down. "It's too soon for me to like like you"
"Yeah. Got it." He said stalking away.
She looked down. She felt sad for doing this but it was for the best.
He grabbed his keys and walked to his car.
She sat on a towel and let tears come down.
When he finally reached home, he sighed and set down his keys on the table, and walked into his room, flopping on the bed.
She blocked everything out. She looked down and walked to her car not saying a word to anyone. ((Sorry about the late response))
((Ur totally okay! I was sleeping anyway! :) ))Was he really this upset about the rejection? Tristan surprised himself with this revelation.
She looked down. She got up and walked slowly to her car. She hated this feeling inside.
Tristan laid there all day, not knowing what to do with himself. He worried his staff, but he didn't care.
She knew what to do. She went to a club. She was dancing at the party. She got some drinks. She was super drunk.
Tristan opened his door to find Vanessa ther. "Oh, hey," he muttered, letting her inside.
"Hi." She slurred. She stumbled I to him. "How are you doing." She said. She was so upset but the alcohol numbed the pain.
Immediately when she started talking, he knew she was drunk. "Damn, how much did you have?!" He asked, catching her as she stumbled kicking the door closed.
"Oh I don't know I had a lot." She slurred. She smiled at him. "Tristain it helps block things out. Do you have any here?" She asked,
"Not for you," he said. "I think you've had too much already," he said, carrying her when she couldn't walk straight. He set her down on the couch.
"Puh lease it's wearing off." She said. She didn't want to feel the pain in her heart.
"No, I don't think it is. But you will have a nasty hangover tomorrow, if that's what you're looking for."
"So it'll keep the pain away." She looked at him. "I left my car there. I lost my keys in game of beer pong. I won." She smiled.
"That isn't healthy," he told her. "You're underage."
She looked at him. "Well it keeps the pain away." She said. She was hurting from pushing away earlier.
"What pain?" He asked. "You've said that a lot."
"None of your business." She said. She watched her sorrows away and didn't want them back. "Kiss me." She said.
"What?!" He replied, flabbergasted. "Where did that come from?!"
That hurt her. "Can I have another drink?" She asked. She looked at him then looked down. He didn't want her. She got and staggered to his fridge. Looking for some more.
"Hey, hey , hey," he said, hopping up and getting to the fridge before she did, knowing thst he really did have some alcohol in there. "I can kiss you if you want,I'm just surprised, that's all. I mean, you show up randomly at my door drunk and ask me to kiss you."
She looked at him sadly. "Just give me the damn drink." She said. She looked at him angrily this time.
"Why? Did something happen? Somebody give you a run for your money?"
"I just want a drink that's all." She said. She looked at him. She was on the verge of bawling again. "Never mind." She said walking to the door.
Tristan sighed, not wanting her to leave. "Fine. Think fast," he said, tossing a can to her.
"Thank you." She guzzled it down.
"Woah, take it easy, okay?" He said, walking towards her. "Why do you want to drink so much?" He asked.
"To take the pain away." She said.
"None of your business."
"You're coming over and drinking my booze, I think it's my business;" he said, chuckling.
"It's not business," she shouted at him.
