I just finished my 5th and final book for this challenge! Luckily I found 3 short ones, because normally I don't read more than 3 or 4 during Toppler.Oh, no the Toppler has almost finished.... :(
I hate when that happens! Well, it was fun (again)! Still 4 hours to go, so hopefully you can still finish the books you are working on! I already started a new book, but I won't be able to finish in time...
Now, off to the reporting thread! ;)
I only managed to read 1 book this toppler. Life got in the 2wy a bit and I forgot that it started for a day or 2.ill go report in the other thread.
I finished my last book for this challenge and it was a 5 stars books!I read a total of five book during this toppler, which means a new record for me, and I had such a great reading time during this week!
I finished my last book and have a new personal best of 6 books in a week. Cleared a few books off my tbr which is good.Only 15 minutes left - anyone reading up to the final minute?!
I finished my last book last night. It's not quite nine in the morning here. As I was going to sleep, I had a kind of mental picture of the rules that said the toppler ended on "Sunday, June 25," and I wondered if I had the stop time wrong. I'm pretty sure it should have said "Saturday, June 25." I think topplers usually end on a Saturday, but I can't really remember. Anyway, I have posted a question in the toppler questions thread, just in case, since "Sunday" and "June 25" do not coincide.
Okay, Jmom has clarified that it should have said "Saturday," and the toppler is now officially over. If by any chance anyone has finished reading a book they have not reported, now is the time to report it.

I would use them as quick water bowls, or food bowls if theirs were in the dishwasher. Jingo chews on them and they crack or pieces break off.
I come up with a final count of 44. We're not going to win, but I think we did amazingly well when you consider that we only had eight people participating. Our total works out to slightly less than five books per participant. Congratulations, guys, on a job well done!
I looked around at some of the other team's threads, and we were the smallest team. Two of the other teams had 12 people each. On a books-per-person basis, we did really well.
That is really good. Like you say, we did superb considering the size of our team. It was unfortunate that so many didn't show up but that's the way it goes sometimes. Well done to everyone. I certainly enjoyed myself and the books i read. I hope you did too. :-)
I enjoyed myself, both reading and chatting. Sarah, you were a great team leader. I am proud of my team and my team-mates.
Thanks Casceil! I too am proud of our members and our achievements:-) And it was nice to read in tribute to people. It made me think about them and their contributions to the world.
I've just woken up, (5am here) and was hoping to be able to add another book to our total, but I just couldn't keep my eyes open last night, only read to 83%. I'm still pretty happy with my total of 7 books for the week though. Well done to everyone who broke their record for toppler week and everyone else who joined in. Thanks to Sarah for leading us, and to Casceil for keeping score.
Thanks Casceil for keeping score. I found the daily updates very encouraging. And thanks TrudyAn for cheerleading. I hope you and Kristi enjoyed your first toppler.
44 books is amazing, especially for such a small team! No more completed books for me. I thought I had another day to finish my audiobook, and didn't even notice the day/date discrepancy. Thanks Sarah and Casceil for all you help us reach this terrific total. This was a lot of fun, and I can hardly wait for the next one,
That was great team mates, thank you Sarah for being such a great team leader and thank you Casceil for keeping score. That was fun! I read some great books this week.
Hi there! When exactly did my time stop? I finished another book 3 hours and 25 minutes ago but been doing chores and as you know am hopelessly confused about our time rules - is it admissible?Ah! I had remembered it said Sunday too.....but whose Sunday - or Saturday???? AAAAAaaaaarrrrrgggghhhhhh!!!!!! hahahaha
Just used Janice's time converter and the last 3 of mine are all within the time frame, just the one finished this morning (which I haven't even put up on the thread) is well outside. Phew! The converter for the end date read 0400 PM not AM. I was so confused by being told I was 4 hours ahead in time when I'm 16 ahead (or whatever time zone being used) to the US. I once flew back to the UK from NZ and landed in LA before I left NZ - that was pretty weird! Possibly the only time travel I will ever do!
If you use the converter for noon EDT Saturday 25th Deborah and the books you read at the end count, be sure to report them over in the thread. I've not looked there yet so you may well have already done so. Ignore me if so :-)
They are all up, Sarah :) I didn't do so bad seeing as I lost two days to a fit of the sulks <---- noodle
Deborah has reported another book, after sorting out the time conversion. This brings our total to 45! (It also means that, even with two days out in the middle, Deborah read more books than anyone else on our team for a total of 8. We should all make mental notes for future topplers that Deborah is a great person to have on our team, as long as we make sure she has figured out the start time in advance.) Good work, Deborah!
Deborah, I like the way you can laugh at yourself. And that you can really plow through the books! (Unless you are on an opposing team for the next Toppler, that is. :)
