Fresno Bob | 127 comments and this bothers me! I'm even checking the generic "help" threads.

EDIT: It also bothers me that I can't spell!

Thanks for posting this topic, Fresno Bob. I'm sure many folks share this frustration from time to time.

If you're like me, you don't rely on your memory alone. Unfortunately, I don't have that many books floating around in my brain. So I rely on search tools. Here are some sites I've seen mentioned in this group. I'm sure there are many others that may help.

Google Books - www.google.com/advanced_book_search
Google searches such as - 'site:www.goodreads.com keyword "exact phase" keyword' OR 'site:www.amazon.com keyword "exact phase" keyword'
Worldcat - www.worldcat.org/advancedsearch -- No results? Try broadening your search by removing some terms.
Amazon - www.amazon.com/gp/browse.html?node=24... OR www.amazon.co.uk/gp/browse.html?node=... -- Just note the publication year often isn't the earliest one you may be looking for.
Librarything's tag mashes - www.librarything.com/tag/keyword,keyw...
FictionDB - http://www.fictiondb.com/search/searc...
Library of Congress - http://catalog.loc.gov/vwebv/searchAd...
Novelist Plus -- You might be able to access this site through your public library's site.
AllReaders - http://allreaders.com/booksearcha.asp#S1
Old Children's Books - www.oldchildrensbooks.com/booksearch
Amazon's "Look Inside" preview for a specific book
Google Book's previews - http://books.google.com/ -- Often Google's previews are longer than Amazon's
