The books Title was "The ........ Book Club" it was written by an older women who only wrote this one book. Set in the America in the South, it told the lives of several women, through the eyes of one of them, who started a women's book club. Through their lives we saw the history of the deep south and how they lived.

I'm sorry I can't remember the author's name but she was quite old when the book was finally published.

Is it And Ladies of the Club? Set in Ohio. The author was 88 when it was published, I believe.
