Thane | 476 comments Just saw this on the Zelazny Goodreads board. If we ever read a Roger Zelazny book, you can play this drinking game!

http://where-there-had-been-darkness....

CAUTION: Play at home or have a friend hide your keys if drinking real alcohol with this one!

Joseph | 2433 comments Yep, Kraken Spiced Rum, Reed's Extra-Sharp Ginger Brew and Horror-Infused Tropical Spiced Bitters, combined to make a rather nice Dark & Stormy.

I got the Cthulhu tiki mug, the bitters, the spoon and the jigger from www.horrorinclay.com

John (Nevets) Nevets (nevets) | 1904 comments Ok, I didn't remember this post was this old when I went looking for it, but I thought it needed reviving just to post this link

Fans of the Rothverse take note. They speak of a possible third, so there may be another drink coming.

By the way, it was just beer with dinner for me tonight.

Darren Coffee. It's morning.

Colin Forbes (colinforbes) | 534 comments I got this nice bottle of Macallan (Scotch) Whisky for my birthday the other week, but I'm not fussy - just about any variety of Malt Whisky would be perfectly acceptable ...

Fresno Bob | 602 comments half a case of red wine in my car for camping, won't be enough as we are bringing 4 13 year old girls

Clyde (wishamc) | 574 comments Had a little red wine last night (Spanish). Also been drinking a bit of shochu (Aka-Kirishima) and whiskey (Jack Daniels straight up) lately.

Not nearly enough. That's only a bottle each. ;-)

(view spoiler)

terpkristin | 4407 comments Apple pie moonshine from some distillery in Maryland. It's not the Firefly moonshine, which (for better and worse) goes down very smooth.

Well OK ... I guess ... Perhaps early in the afternoon as a pre nap drink.

message 62: by Tamahome (new)

Tamahome | 7232 comments A nap-a-latte?

Kevin | 701 comments Straffe Hendrik Quadrupel. A gorgeous dark beer with a full, sweet flavor from Halve Maan, a small brewery in Bruges. At 11%, having only two of them is like downing a bottle of wine, so best to take it slow.

Darren It's morning and I'm drinking coffee again... Okay, it's noon and I'm drinking coffee again... Was into the Yantaiguniang last night, though.

Agreed! Talisker is always a solid choice I find.

Many years ago a friend bought me a half bottle of 100 proof Talisker. I shared very small measures with other friends. When they had consumed it and there was only a wet glass left . . . I set fire to it!
I do enjoy being evil!

If anything that's just an efficient way to cleanup your dishes. I approve!
