Maps, Tables, Preface and Other Intro Info

Personally, I love books that supply maps, genealogies, etc. One map I would like to see included is of the shires ... this one always seems to be missing yet the history books are loaded with references to the shires. For my own use, I keep on in my Plantagenet folder along with a timeline that reflects kings of England and France on a timeline. Do other readers do this same thing? Another helpful chart would be the wives/children of the kings/queens. Usually, we know who ruled next but not how many siblings there were and what happened to them. To include all of them in a family tree would be too cumbersome (I think) but having an easy reference list would be helpful.
