YES! Currently the only time I can read is during my commute and before I sleep, which not that long time though.
Sadly, that has been my life for years. And even less time to read after having kids, so enjoy it while you can.
Yes! I'm a student, but I also have a few part-time jobs that take away time from reading for fun. I never quite understand how anyone can read tons of books (100+) per year unless they don't have a full-time job or school (which I'm not hating, but I just don't get how anyone could juggle that much reading with a full schedule). I read a little bit before I go to bed, but I don't always because I'm usually really tired, and then sometimes I read a few pages before class.

That is basically my life right now! It makes me sad to fall asleep on a book when I never used to :(
Oh my god, I've just finished college (UK!) and I'm not going to uni ... I'm hoping to do a painting and decorating apprenticeship ! My stepdad had me doing some painting work today at his house (7:30-4:30 about!) and this evening I was so tired to read ! Haaa looks like a full time job will slow my reading down too...

YEP! I get a few pages done and I'm out like a light! It makes me so sad!
Full-time job and working on restoring/updating our house -- we moved in last October, the house was built in 1917 and we've been busy ever since! The inside is mostly up to where we want it to be, but now that it's nice out we're repainting the outside, fixing up the yard, and just got a load of gravel delivered to expand the driveway :) I love it and love feeling accomplished, but it REALLY cuts into my reading time.I've nearly always got an audiobook going when I'm at work (stuck at a desk), but when I'm at home I usually have a few hours in the evening, before/after dinner and before bed to read a bit. Really have to budget my time between reading and being on GR/Tumblr/Facebook, as well as trying to get a bit of my own writing done.
Full-time job + commute = no time to read during the week. And I can't even listen to audio books during my commute because I can't pay enough attention to them to keep track of the plot while I drive.
I love reading, but being a full time student at university really interferes with time for reading! I'm a biology major and that means I have two labs that are both three hours long every week. I also have class everyday which doesn't help. Plus I work part time meaning I have no time for leisurely reading ):

So ... I start my full time business admin apprenticeship on Tuesday (hopefully). Sad to see by this discussion that my reading time is going to go down so much so suddenly, but so excited to start!

I get up at 0700 now for work (which doesn't sound bad, but was/is quite an adjustment after getting up at 1245 for 4 years), so by the time I get home I am exhausted! But if work is slow I can sometimes manage to read a few pages there, and then at night I usually try and dedicate as much time to reading as I can, locking myself in my room so I can focus. Still, it takes me a lot longer to read books these days than it did when I was younger!
