Since June is almost here, it's time to decide on a monthly read!

If you're interested in nominating a book, post the title and author in a comment below. All nominations must fall into the Mystery genre. Please limit yourself to a maximum of three nominations per month.

We will be accepting nominations until May 31st. On June 1st, a poll will be created and club members are encouraged to vote for their favorite of the nominations. The monthly read will be announced on June 4th and will be discussed throughout the month of June in this thread.

TPT Points will be awarded to the members with the highest number of discussion posts in this thread. Members will be issued the following point values:
1st: 50 points
2nd: 30 points
3rd: 15 points
This is a fun, simple way to rack up some TPT Points, so get started!

Please post any discussions related to the monthly read in this thread. Remember to include your current page number of percentage at the beginning of your post to alert other members to potential spoilers.

Marjorie (marjorielest) | 34 comments I am on page thirty.

Two questions strike me. How does a guy get into a dirty pipe without leaving a trace? Why is everyone convinced the guy gave himself a hot shot when his works were in his pocket and not in his arm?

Marjorie (marjorielest) | 34 comments There really is a formula to a cop novel and This one is really hitting all the marks.

Cameron Wiggins | 5 comments I love Michael Connelly books. One of my favorite books is The Poet. I am really enjoying this one, and I agree with Marjorie. Connelly is a master at police procedurals. He is very meticulous about his details. I am quite a bit further, but there is only one new needle track on his arm. I hate to spoil things for you further than this, though.

I also really love Michael Connelly books. I had read all of them a few years ago, but he puts so many out that I am behind again. My favorite book of his and possibly one of my favorite all time books is The Poet! :)

P.S. the Amazon Prime show Bosch season 1 was interesting. I want to watch season 2.
