I am on page thirty. Two questions strike me. How does a guy get into a dirty pipe without leaving a trace? Why is everyone convinced the guy gave himself a hot shot when his works were in his pocket and not in his arm?
There really is a formula to a cop novel and This one is really hitting all the marks.
I love Michael Connelly books. One of my favorite books is The Poet. I am really enjoying this one, and I agree with Marjorie. Connelly is a master at police procedurals. He is very meticulous about his details. I am quite a bit further, but there is only one new needle track on his arm. I hate to spoil things for you further than this, though.

He is very meticulous abou..." I also really love Michael Connelly books. I had read all of them a few years ago, but he puts so many out that I am behind again. My favorite book of his and possibly one of my favorite all time books is The Poet! :)
P.S. the Amazon Prime show Bosch season 1 was interesting. I want to watch season 2.
