The first time I read this book, it hadn't even come out yet, it was still an ARC (Advanced Reader's Copy). I fell in love with the world right away, but was very disappointed when no one else had read it yet to share the experience with me. I read it again when the second book, Glass Sword came out. I will admit that it does have a few flaws, but most of them get worked out in the second book. The plot twist was very well done, I was not expecting it at all.
