"That's pretty cool" he told her with a smile. He couldn't help but to look at her. She was pretty cute.
She nodded, “I guess so. Do you want anything to eat? Drink? I think there’s lunch in the fridge,” she said, moving towards the kitchen.
"No I'm good, thanks" he said with a small smile and soon followed her. Why was he so curious about her? Once they were in the kitchen he sat down in the chair. "Why don't you tell me a little bit about yourself?" he asked her as he looked at her

“Not much to tell,” she said. “My life is pretty boring.”
"Well, tell me anyway. I'd like to know" he told her softly and gave a smile to her. "I mean, unless you really don't want to" he told her
She shrugged, “I don’t have anything to say.” She said, “i’m shitty with people.”
"Well maybe I can help with that? I used to not be a real people person too" he explained as he leaned back in the chair a little more
She shrugged simply, sitting back and moving her hair out of her face. “Thank you for the ride,” she said.
"I couldn't just see you walk in this" he glanced outside to see the rain coming down pretty hard. It could even be heard hitting the roof
She shrugged, “I’m used to it,” she explained.
"Still though. I'm just glad I could help" he told her before standing up. "My mom should be back soon. I'll have a lot of homework to do. I'll talk to you tomorrow, okay?" he asked her
He stopped for a minute and stared at her a moment. "Are you okay?" he asked her softly as he kept his gaze on her
She held his gaze and raised one eyebrow, “I’m great. Are you?”
"Yeah. I'm okay" he paused for a moment, seeing her face in the light. "You're really pretty. " He told her as a little smile appeared on his face.
She blinked, a little taken aback. She hesitated, “thanks,” she said, moving her hair off her face.
"You should keep you hair like that. Show off that pretty face of yours." he smiled and walked towards exit. "I'll see you tomorrow." he gave a small waive and soon left through the door in the kitchen
She flushed lightly, standing up to walk him out of the house. “See ya,” she said.

It had been a couple of weeks and he was glad to see Ella come out of her she'll a little. She was really starting to become a good friend to him. He had called her after school seeing if she wanted to come over and hang out.

Ella picked up, “hey,” she said, “sorry about yesterday,” she said, she’d had to cancel one of their hangouts due to a doctor’s appointment.
"It's okay. I understand what that's like" he told her through the phone. "You're free today though, aren't you?" he asked
"I'll see you soon" he told her what the a smile
"I thought we could hang out a little. First hot day we've had in a while. Maybe you'd like to go the the beach?" he asked her
“Sure,” she said. “Meet you there in a couple of hours?”
"Sounds good, seeya then" he hung up and began. to get ready
It was a little longer before he made his way to the beach
She met him there, wearing a dress over a two piece swimsuit.
Soon he found her at the beach. He was surprised to see her in a dress. She looked really pretty in one. "Hey, you" he smiled
“Hi,” she said, smoothing the creases out of her summer dress, a little uncomfortable. She couldn’t remember the last time she wore anything so... short. It was striped black and white so she didn’t have to worry much about the colour, though she was more accustomed to wearing dark colours.
He liked how she looked. "You look great!" he told her with a smile as he motioned her over. "C'mon, I have a nice spot over here" he told her
She walked over self-consciously. She also didn’t have a drop of make up on. She usually had a black eyeshadow on and a nude lipstick. “Hope I’m not late,” she said.
"Nonsense. I'm just glad you showed up." he told her as he began removing his shirt. "Why don't you say we jump in?" he asked her
She played with the hem of her dress hesitantly. She was nervous and that was obvious. She watched him.
"C'mon, don't be shy." he gave a small smile as he began walking towards the water, practically jumping into it
She smiled a little as she watched him and then pulled her dress off.
