Book gifted from the US - can't access in the UK

Hi - I have been gifted a book, and also sent vouchers to listen to Audible books but they are from the US and I'm in the UK - I can't get them to work, is there anyway that this can be done? Or am I stuck with books I can't listen too :(

Can you contact the person who sent you the vouchers and see if they can send you the code for the UK version? If you've already used the vouchers, you may have to contact Audible and see if there is a UK version for the books.

Donna, if could use the same (amazon) account name/pw to log into audible.com that I use for audible.UK

I had the same problem, was gifted books with US codes. I could use the codes and only had to switch from UK to US in the audible app to listen to the books, but without a problem.

Hi Donna,

Since Audible UK and Audible US are different marketplaces, you would not be able to redeem a US code on your UK account. As Specs mentioned, it is possible for you to sign in with your UK information on Audible US and redeem it there. You can simply switch back and forth from the UK and US marketplaces to access each library.
