Richard looked between the two males. He knew who he needed to choose. Nixon was older but Connor was the more reliable choice. "Nixon maybe at some point down the road you'll be the leader the Titans need but right now I have to go with Connor. Connor, I know you don't like being compared to Clark but it's because of the similarities between you that you're getting this position. You are the leader I would want for my team. Thank you both for coming forward to fill this void."

Starfire held Nixon's hand. Maybe they could go forward with the new team then if he wanted to. She smiled at Amaris. Not the mocking smile the boy was used to seeing but a genuine smile.

Raven smiled. They had done it! Connor was the leader of the Titans. She felt a little bad for Nix but at the same time she was excited for her boyfriend.

Connor turned to Raven, his features expressing his emotions to his fullest capacity. It was however annoying that his clone like status to Superman was what gave him his role. He growled quietly into the crook of Raven's neck before pressing his lips against it and kissing her lips lightly. "We did it." He said.

Peering over at the kid, Connor asked, "So when is the wedding?"

Raven knew what he was thinking. He meant it as a compliment Connor. Clark isn't your father and you don't usually act like him but you do have the same values. "You did it, Connor. I came along for emotional support." When asked about the wedding she turned to face Richard once more.

"We haven't decided yet. But I want all of you there for it." Richard had spent a lot of time with the Titans they were still some of his closest friends and he couldn't imagine their wedding day without them.

Star smiled. "We would not miss it." She couldn't help but look at Amaris again. He was still just standing in the corner and other than returning her wave he had made no attempt to acknowledge their presence. "He still doesn't like company does he?" She had met their son a couple of times before while visiting with Richard but he always seemed happier to keep to himself in a corner than to spend time with people.

Connor growled again, "Just stop talking about him Raven." He kissed her cheek before hugging her once more.

Alicia's hand stiffed on Richard's shoulder. Easily triggered by harmless comments, the brunette had to breathe in quickly and exhale silently. She kept her gaze focused on the beautiful female. "We're not quite a fan of it." She addressed, noting the fact that Amaris and Alicia were both outsiders to the justice league and the titans. "But Richard and I were talking. We want you to mentor him."

Star stared in disbelief. "Me? But I don't know the first thing about mentoring someone. Maybe....maybe Cyborg would be better suited..." Her thoughts trailed off as she looked at Nix. He believed in her. She could see it on his face. She took one look at Amaris before turning back to Alicia and nodding. "Forgive me Alicia. I would love the opportunity to mentor your son."

Richard watched Raven. He had never seen her smile so much. He was glad she had finally found a balance with her emotions that didn't require her locking her emotions down constantly.

Raven smiled at Connor and interlaced their fingers. She looked to Starfire and Nix then. He didn't seem too disappointed that he didn't get the leadership position and she was still startled about being asked to mentor the young man in the corner. She knew her friend would be able to handle it though.

alicia nodded biting her lower lip before averting her gaze back to her wonderful fiance. "richard, i think amaris has a strong future ahead of him." to this, she reached out her hand for her son to join. despite his resistance he approached and hugged his mother who kissed the top of his head in a nurturing manner.

nix kissed the top of star fire's head, "i think you can juggle the two koriandr," he said encouraging before kissing her softly. "i believe in you."

as connor peered around the room, he too was smiling. it seemed like a great night. one of the best in history. the one moment where it seemed so much was beginning but no end was in sight. with that he said goodbye and flew back to the tower with raven, ready to make love to her again. "i love you so much birdgirl," he chuckled.

Raven waved to Richard and Alicia and then took off after Connor. "I love you too, Con-El."

Star blushed slightly. "Thank you Nix." She turned to face Amaris. "It's nice to see you again, Amaris."

Richard nodded his agreement. "Thank you for doing this for us Star." He placed an arm around Alicia's waist and his other hand was on his son's shoulder.

Amaris waved goodbye to Starfire before the family returned to their dwellings. Nixon placed a gentle kiss against the princess' lips. "Time to go home." He said with a soft smile.

While Connor hated his kryptonian name he accepted it. "Thank you."

+ if u want we can have someone kidnap amaris while alicia and dick are out planning for the wedding? i got to find some bridemaids too. lol. starfire will be a bridemaid as will raven.

+ while starfire is saving amaris [ potentially ] nixon goes out a night doing suspicious things that might eventually lead to prometheus reappearing.

Alicia lead Richard back to their joined room. "Now that, that is over," She said with a soft smile before kissing the man. "We can do something fun." Alicia's son returned to his own room and started practicing moves his mother and father taught him.
