Lieke | 697 comments I reread Harry Potter och Dödsrelikerna by J.K. Rowling for 29. A book by an author who writes under more than one name.
It was the first time I reread book 6 and 7, I had forgotten some things or forgotten that they where different in the book. I have seen the movies more than once.

From goodreads:
Harry is waiting in Privet Drive. The Order of the Phoenix is coming to escort him safely away without Voldemort and his supporters knowing - if they can. But what will Harry do then? How can he fulfil the momentous and seemingly impossible task that Professor Dumbledore has left him?

I read this for my 2017 Reading Challenge, a banned book. This had to be my least favorite of the Harry Potter books. It was painfully slow, especially in comparison to how the other books advanced. It was like the wizard version of Lord of The Rings where they just walk forever, but instead of walking they disapperate (sp?).

2/5

Joan Barnett | 1972 comments I finally finished the series. I did think this book was a little too long though. I thought some of it could be trimmed out somewhere. It definitely wasn't my favorite of the series. I enjoy it more when they are in Hogwarts for the majority of the story. I felt some of the magical parts weren't as strong in this one because of it.

I read it for the 2019 challenge #11 - a book relating to one of the 12 Zodiac signs - I used the snake as the connection. I only rated this one 4 stars but I'm so glad I finally finished the series.
