Wren was rather touchy right now. She limped up and leaned against the wreckage of the bike. "I feel you, friend," she said, patting the mangled structure.
"Well.. I think we should lure the magical bird here with a magical snack. So... Magic bunny meat?" She suggested.

"Well," she grinned. "A Jackalope, then. That's a magic creature. And then... Um..." She realized how dumb this plan was, but tried it anyways. She focused really hard, shrinking into a nice, plump jackalope. "No laughing."

Anastadia quickly sucked when the bird flew by and grabbed Wren. They should have come up with a better plan first. Like a way to catch the bird before they tried to lure it in.
"Grab the bird!" she insisted, hurrying and kicking, squirming. She turned into a bird as well, flapping and clinging to Anastasia's shirt. "Hold on tight!"

((I will if you guys want to!))
Wren flew up and up! She was really strong, blessed by some god or goddess in this moment... hopefully not one that would drop them from the sky as a rude form of a joke. Wren was gaining on the eagle!

Anastasia kept her eyes shut. She prayed to the gids that she was not dropped. There was no way she would a drop from thus high up. She hoped one of the two grabbed a feather so they could move on to their next task. She was getting real sick of this bird.
Gosh dang! Wren flapped as hard as she could, trying to keep Anastasia from breaking anything as they fell. Dang it! She just wanted to move on!
