Ana was held her breath as she plunged into the water. She immediately started to try to get herself to surface but hwr backpack was weighing her down but she didnt want to get rid of it.
Wren had shifted again and was lying unconscious in the middle of the lake. Oddly enough, the child didn't even look... human. Her hair was green, and stranger still, it had a tint that seemed... natural. And her skin was more orange than tanned or yellow or pink. Her body had a strange sort of luminescence, as if it was radioactive.

Wren started choking up water. Apparently she'd used up way more energy than before. Honestly, she'd never done animals before... she just hadn't wanted to let them down.

That was really, really sensitive and great for Wren's fragile self esteem. It was why she constantly hid herself behind a mask, in an entirely different skin. Wren's face glowed a reddish orange for a brief instant, then she shifted into the red warrior again, blinking a lot. "Sorry."

"Sort of. I'd been hoping to find the stupid eagle before sleeping... I guess we lost him, though, for now." They were soaked. "I'll get some firewood, okay?"
((Sokay. :) I wrote that Apollo was cursed to be human before Riordan did. :) ))
Wren trodded off, gathering dead brush.

Anastasia sat there for a few moment before standing up and walking down the shore line, thinking. As she did so she braided her wet hair that way it wouldnt get all tangled up. She didnt go very far. A long the way she picked up some dead branches and beought them back.
Wren came back, then felt a little redundant. Anastasia already had brought wood. The tent was up. Food was out. Shamefaced, she changed into fuzzy, non-drenched pajamas -thanks to her waterproof pack- and climbed into the sleeping bag. She didn't feel hungry. Just exhausted.

Wren left her clothes by the fire, nuzzling into the sleeping bag. She hoped they didn't think she was a monster.
The next day... Wren had caught fish by making her fingers look like worms. Her powers were evolving to animals...

"Wait... seriously? Steal a car? Ride on the shifter's back? You had a sweet ride all along? I'd be mad, but it's pretty epic. Dibs sidecar!"

The girl climbed in the side-car, willing to share, if needed. This girl had better not crash and kill them...
"Uh..." Wren looked around, daftly. "I don't know... that way?" she guessed. "That's the way I was flying, earlier."
She held onto the tracker. "Yeah... go around the lake. It's more to the right, now, though, to the west."

Wren stopped paying attention to the compass and started clinging to the sidecar, keeping low. Occasionally, she'd point, but mostly just freaked out. They were going too fast for her to relay instructions... this was probably super illegal, too...
Wren nearly flew out of the sidecar. Her face was green, like she was going to be sick. "If I were to drive, we'd be safer, and I've never been on a motorcycle!" she snapped irritably.
"Yes, please!" she had her eyes tightly closed, ducking low. The shifter was terrified out of her wits.

Wren yelped. "You're in the driver's seat!" She screamed. She couldn't reach the controls from where she sat, or operate them.
Wren screamed as the bike hit a tree and exploded into flames. Nadia had murdered her quest mates.
((Jk))
Wren jumped from the bike, not about to go down with it. She rolled on the pavement, unconscious, head bleeding.

Wren was unconscious.. She was so blaming Nadia and her lack of prioritizing... parking first, right?
