Alec has shaggy, charcoal hair that he never bothers to brush. Messy, like his life (ha-ha). His eyes are a lovely shade of orange, usually flicked towards you with an expression of boredom or amusement. Alec is pretty slim, and doesn't have much muscle. Normally, he'll just be wearing a dark green coat with a gray shirt. Sometimes you'll see him wearing headphones, trying to drown out other people.
( History ) Hoo boy. Prepare yourself for a sob story, kids! Alec was born during a hurricane. High winds, heavy rain. It seems like an appropriate metaphor for his life. His life was truly tragic from the start, with a meister mother that died birthing him. His father always blamed him for her death and verbally abused him for most of his life. Alec grew a wall of ice around his heart to prevent himself from getting hurt, and no one has seemed to be able to shatter it. Alec is glad for that, as he isn’t sure if he himself would shatter along with his armored heart. But one fateful day he’d had enough of his father’s abuse, and as he went to hit him, a spike grew from his fist and pierced his father’s heart. Alec was shocked, to say the least. The cops didn’t arrest him, believing his explanation that ‘it was an accident’, but not before referring him to the DWMA. He was accepted, and soon found a meister, Zoe, who Alec has convinced himself to loathe. Alec now lives with the bane of his existence.
( Personality ) Alec is sarcastic and cold towards everyone. He is extremely bitter and hates pretty much everything on this planet. Alec dislikes people who are polite, as he thinks manners are pointless and fake. Though he is not aware of this, he can be hilariously theatrical at times. Alec can warm up to people (wink wink Zoe) if he wants to, but often doesn’t. He may be described as apathetic, but a lot of the time Alec is just suppressing his feelings. He’s quite minimalistic and plain, as he hates trivialities. Alec can get quite cocky in battle, sometimes to the point of endangering himself. He takes a lot of risks, but usually won’t if they would result in endangering his meister.

Kuroi also means dark, so... And Kuro, so that's why... Kuro and Kuroi mean black/dark

Nana has melon-colored hair that ends at her waist. She has brown eyes and pale skin that compliments her hair nicely. Usually she has a big smile on her face. Nana is rather short for her age, only around 4 feet. Many have wondered how so much spunk could be confined into such a little and petite body.
( History ) (view spoiler) Nana grew up with her grandparents for the most part, as her mother and father were fairly busy. They were meisters, but her mother had chosen to live a normal life. Nana was taught the basics by then, and later enrolled into the DWMA to gain more knowledge and to eventually become a successful meister. She is still searching for a weapon who can handle her.
( Personality ) Nana is an outspoken and cheerful girl. She always goes out of her way to make new friends and makes sure to include everyone. Nana loves meeting new people, and is very outgoing. Nana is quite a handful to manage, as she is energetic and practically bounces off the walls. Nana can be annoying sometimes, as she always feels she has something to say. She loves to make cheesy jokes and bad puns. Nana never knows where to draw the line, and sometimes oversteps certain boundaries without meaning to. Nana is curious soul and always has a question to ask or something to investigate.
