While reading books....

This is a crazy question, but what does everyone drink, if anything, while reading? Sometimes I like ice water, sometimes iced coffee, but lately I've been enjoying iced tea with a little peach flavor. It's very relaxing and goes along perfect with a good book.

Does anyone enjoy snacking while reading?

Just a few crazy questions. Leave me recommendations with your favorite books and authors!

I like drinking peach iced tea as well (Snapple). Sometimes I like to eat Cheez-Its along with it (Big Cheez-Its).

I like fantasy with humor like Angela Chrysler's Dolor and Shadow.

I drink too much Coke these days. But I've been finding a nice cup of Red Rose tea with some toast and strawberry jam makes me happy while reading in the morning. One of my bad tricks in the afternoon, if I'm overly sleepy, is to eat Skittles while reading to get enough of a sugar high to keep reading. Shame on me.

I love reading anything and everything. Favourites would be Jodi Piccoult, Nicholas Sparks, John Steinbeck, and Kristin Hannah. I would be so happy if I could find books by Erma Bombeck. She brought humour into my life from age 8 onward.

I don't really eat or drink anything while reading... I mean sometimes I eat my meals while reading, but most of the time I just laying on my bed reading :D

I read basically any YA genre, but most of the time is fantasy. I really like Renee Ahdieh and Rick Riordan's books for example :D I also love reading historical fiction.

Honey chamomile tea with cream and vanilla cake. Reading is my luxury and joy so my snacks reflect that lol.

I love non-fiction, biography, the classics, everything almost. But I buy Laura Kinsale books before I even read the reviews...After reading four of her fiercely intelligent, soul-tumbling, 2 handkerchief romances I know I will never be disappointed.

I personally love to drink coffee. I know it's cliche, but I feel as though my mind stimulates perfectly enough to adequately sponge the information formidably.

Others disagree because they become anxious when drinking coffee, but I digress.

I drink lots of coffee. It's the only thing that relaxes me enough that I can sit and really enjoy the book. It's my morning routine - rise at 5:30 coffee, book and wait for the clock to turn 7.

I drink hot chocolate in the winter with marshmallows. In the summer I drink iced herbal teas. Now writing is a different scenario altogether! If I am writing a love scene I am drinking hot chocolate or eating chocolate of some kind....but if I am writing drama and suspense I am crunching some Cheetos, or having a plate of nachos. LOL

Glenlivet 12-year single-malt Scotch. It helps me to relax, clear my mind of other matters and focus exclusively on the book.

I read whenever I get the chance, so it could be in the bathroom, by the side of the road, in a food court, on the train. So food or drinks have very little to do with reading for me.
