Hi All,

It's been quite a journey over the years. Since joining Nik's group back on the 26th of July 2016, I've racked up 7240 comments, which of course will make this my 7241st.

That's a lot of chatting in the last five plus years, and it's been in turn enlightening, entertaining, and occasionally exasperating, but always interesting.

That said, I find myself persistently exhausted (especially after the last 2 years), and I need to pull back from a few things in my life, and social media is one of them.

I'm keen to consolidate my remaining life's focus on family, home, work, writing, friends and health.

Of course, I cherish the friends I have made here, and I'll still be on goodreads, but in a reduced measure of my time. I wish all of you the very best, both in this forum and more broadly in your lives off line. May all of you enjoy health, wealth, and happiness in good and abundant measure. I wish that for you from my heart.

May I suggest as a parting comment that someone needs to pick up the moderator role to help Nik out.

I'm just now seeing this, and it makes me sad. I've always known how hard Graeme worked as a moderator, and I've appreciated it. He really did a great job. I hope that nothing I've said influenced his decision. He will certainly be missed! And while I'm here, I want to thank you, Nik, for all you do for this group!
