Summer is the season of fresh fruit and color. I also adore listopias, so I'm going to combine the two for this task.

This is a two book task. Read a book from two different lists below.

Required: State which list and, if the list has more than one page, which page your books can be found on when you post.

Pomegranates on the Cover

Citrus on the Cover

Mango on the Cover

Berries on the Cover

Apples on the Cover

Coralie Could you confirm that the book must both be on the list and the edition we read must have the fruit on the cover?

I am okay with it just being on the list. It can probably be difficult to find the exact editions for many folks. So you can read any edition of the books on the list - they don't have to match the exact covers from the listopia.

Thank you. That makes it much easier.

Do you still want us to include the cover, even if the edition we read doesn't have any fruit on it? I'm thinking of reading Vampires in the Lemon Grove And Other Stories by Karen Russell , but my copy has a different cover Vampires in the Lemon Grove by Karen Russell

Include the cover from the listopia. :) I like the pretty pictures.

Chris (chrismd) | 1237 comments Persephone's Orchard (The Chrysomelia Stories, #1) by Molly Ringle

I've had this book on my TBR list since a previous challenge. It clearly shows Persephone holding a pomegranate, but it wasn't on the pomegranate list. I have added it, but I think that means I can't use it?

Unfortunately, no. The rules for the entire challenge group is that no new books can be added to listopias by the participants during the challenge. :(

Deborah | 1667 comments Question, how can you tell if a book has been "added?" I'm about to start reading The Lie Tree by Frances Hardinge (#39). I honestly cannot remember if I added it, or voted on it already being on the list. Does voting on it disqualify you using it if it was already there? Two people, which includes me, have voted on it. Does that amount to the same thing?

I have added books to listopia. Should a task arise where you need to read a book off of Books that make you cry, not requiring that it be new to you, I would or would not be able to re/read a book I voted on, or added, in the past?

I can very easily move it to another task, this is just an honest question not realizing the rules and not knowing exactly what I did or how to check. I do know I, at the very, least VOTED on the book, and pretty sure because of the task. I just don't remember if it was already listed. Sorry it's such a rambling query.
