It is my understanding that I do more than your average proofreader, but less than your average copyeditor. I decided to advertise as a proofreader.

I understand that, but sometimes things get missed in early edits. I look for those as well as the spelling and grammar. As you said, it is the last step and if there are still plot holes they should be pointed out, shouldn't they?
I like giving the authors I work with the most I can give them. I am not sure why that is such a problem.
I do appreciate your input, and hope that we can agree to disagree and just leave it be :)

I use track changes in word to correct the manuscript. I guarantee the manuscripts return two weeks from the start date.
I prefer fantasy, romance, dystopian, contemporary, middle-grade, young adult, pretty much all fiction. However, I understand that it is difficult to find editors for certain genres. Message me and I will most likely end up accepting you manuscript.
