I did last week when I saw your question, and she didn't know. And actually I have the paperback with me right now and I've turned it backwards and forwards, looking everything and in no place can I find the credits for the cover art which is totally bizarre...

OK! Here are my questions for Week 1:

1. Cathy's wedding day arrives, and her mother wasn't joking when she said she'd make sure Cathy would go through with it. What are your thoughts/feelings on Cathy's forced circumstances?

2. On the way to the ceremony, we get some surprising insights into Cathy's father's background and why he treats his daughter the way he does. Does this change your opinion of him at all? If so, what do you make of him now?

3. The wedding itself, and the honeymoon, brings some unavoidable truths with it, for Cathy and Will both. Does their behaviour in this part of the book change what you think of them/their outlook?

I think I've touched on the major points to address in these chapters, but as always, feel free to add anything else you think is important!

Will wants to have his cake and eat it. Between his dealings with the Alba-Rosas and his efforts to coach Cathy for social success, how do you judge his behaviour this week?

Cathy seems to be taking on the Agency - just as Max is sent to investigate them. Is she biting off more than she can chew?

Max drops a lot of hints that Leanne may not be entirely her own woman any more. What do you think is going on at Leanne's flat? - and do you think there's any chance for Sam to save his marriage?

We get our first glimpse of London Society at the Tulipas 'intimate' dinner, and we get a hint that Cathy might be tempted to adapt her goals. What did you think of how she handled herself at dinner - and of how she reacted on the way home?

Well now, it seems like things are shifting! Very interesting this week. To the questions:

Cathy has her first meeting with Lord Iris. What were your first impressions? And what do you think it is that Lord Iris and Poppy both now 'see' in Cathy??

We had an insight into Amelia and also an insight into Cornelius - what are your thoughts on the two of them now and also how does this make you feel in terms of Will?

It seems that everyone is puzzled by Will and Cathy’s match. Even Will jokingly (or not) wonders if he’s being offered up as a sacrifice - any thoughts as to why Will and Cathy as oppose to their more ‘suitable’ siblings?

Let’s just discuss the consummation of the marriage and the overall feelings afterwards? Thoughts please.

Max and the gargoyle, how do you think the investigation is fairing? What do you make of their tactics?

Sam and his marriage. Any more thoughts about Lord Iron or Neugent?? What about the other couples who had rings forged?

Sorry, lots of questions. Obviously please feel free to add other thoughts to enlighten me - I had so many more questions about Sophie not to mention the insufferable Dame but thought I needed to stop!!
