We'll start reading it on May 19th.

First part - 13 chapters (1st week)
Second part - 13 chapters (2nd week)
Third part - 12 chapters (3rd week)
Fourth part - 13 chapters (4th week)
And the fifth part - 5 chapters (last week)

My book is divided by 5 parts.

The first part has 13 let say chapters (small ones)
The second part has also 13 small chapters
The third part has 12 small chapters
The fourth part has 13 small chapters
And the fifth part has 5 small chapters

Would you like to read one part each week??

I just finished reading the first part of the book, I liked it a lot (view spoiler)[ except the ending of the first part, I would have done something else, maybe scare the man, not what Ed did. The funniest chapter was the Jimmy one and the chapter I liked the most was with the girl that ran bear-feet (hide spoiler)]

I just finished the first part too :D I'm not sure which chapter I liked the best, but overall I really like the book so far, my expectations werent the most positive but i really like it. What about you? What chap is your fav?

(view spoiler)[ be Jimmy, it was super funny, I laughed a lot and then it got weird with the old lady because he was supposedly her husband :S And the one in which Ed gives the shoe box to the father of Sophie and he says it's empty I laughed too :P (hide spoiler)]

I just finished part 2 as well, I really liked the whole thing when (view spoiler)[ Ed got the idea for the free beer, because at that point i really noticed Ed's charachter development. He has become a lot more positive than he used to be, and you can see that he actually believes in himself as well. (hide spoiler)]

Can I just ask? Why are we reading 12 chapters 3rd week? when there are 13 chapters in part 3 as well?

we divided the book by parts to read because it was easier

I'm missing like 30 pages to finish the second part of the book

Yeah I know but it says 12 chapters in week 3, but in part 3 there are 13 chapters not 12

I already finished it, because no one commented anything in here, and we had already gone through all the weeks, so i didnt know what to do, but I can wait for you so we can discuss it if you want :)

Yes you were supposed to, but I got sick, had finals and then vacation, so I got behind.

I'm enjoying the book.

Yes, I loved it! :D Really excited to read The Book Thief after this!

The characters are all really well done, and the whole thing about the cards really kept me reading, i was just curious to see how it would end!

Also I hope your finals went well and that youre not sick anymore! :)

I like how the structure of the book (The book thief) was written, it makes it interesting.

And I loved the movie :P
