I think we're gonna see some messed up things at the Spring Court. Didn't Lucian say Tamlin hasn't been himself with Feyre gone? Maybe he meant the whole allying with the King of Hybern but what if Tamlin did some other crazy stuff at Spring Court (and maybe Ianthe caused some shit to go down too?)
I hope Nesta has some super kick-ass Fae powers like Feyre does too. And ELAIN AND LUCIAN oh my word. Everyone suspected Nesta and Lucian but whoa here he is with Elain. I bet Elain and Lucian end up ruling Spring Court together and that's why Feyre painted the flowers to represent her. I think this next book will be so hard on Lucian. We know how dedicated and loyal he is to Tamlin - but Tamlin has taken advantage of Lucian too much at this point. I think Lucian will have a similar arc like Feyre just had.
Sarah has said we finally find out what Amren is in the third book and I'm super pumped for that! I'm kind of scared though for Rhys and Feyre. We've never seen how Sarah wraps up a series - if she'll go for a happy ending or a tragic one. I just need them to be together and live happy, happy lives ruling the Night Court.
Also I think the Bone Carver showed himself to Feyre has their future child. Maybe in the Epilogue they'll have beautiful Fae babies <3

I can't wait to see more of Amren (and her dark past) and Mor in action. And also perhaps the introduction of Miryam and Drakon to further the back story of the group.
I also second the theory of Elain eventually ending up in the spring court. It makes sense, with her love of gardening and the painted flowers. I'm just hoping Tamlin sees sense and finds a way to move on and grow.
I feel bad for Lucien and the situation he's in. I'm hoping he finds some happiness in the next book and finally stands up for himself.
Can't wait for the next book. It'll be a long year haha

OMG, I didn't even think about that possibility with the Bone Carver. That is genius and I hope its true because you are right, we haven't seen SJM wrap a series up since TOG is still ongoing. I hope she's a happy ending closed ended author :I

I really want to see more Nessian and I would definitely like to see Nesta adjusting to her Fae life now! Maybe Cassian will help her get through it and teach her how to fight! The sexual tension and banter between these two rivals even Feyre and Rhysand!
I CANNOT WAIT for the moment when Tamlin realises he's been betrayed (I'm just evil like that), but I do feel kind of bad for him, so I'm hoping he'll meet his mate. It seems unlikely though, so I won't get my hopes up. While I'm talking about the Spring Court, I really want Lucien to grow a pair and speak out, because now that it regards his own mate, I assume SJM will want Lucien to start stepping up.
Azriel and Mor are another interesting couple who I would like to see developed. They are talked about very vaguely in ACOMAF, so hopefully we'll see them admitting their feelings to each other FINALLY. Feyre will have to do some matchmaking ;).
Amren is a really enigmatic character. We don't really know much about her and she seems like a super scary and badass person! She doesn't play a huge role in ACOMAF but I can definitely see her becoming a major player.
The King of Hybern and just the kingdom Hybern itself, are also a mystery. I am really interested to learn more about the King of Hybern's past and we might even be introduced to some characters from the Hybern court! We really don't know much about their customs, or the people's lives there.
I CAN'T BELIEVE THE NEXT BOOK IS GOING TO COME OUT IN 2017. WHY IS LIFE SO CRUEL... :,(

And also ALIS. What is she up to? She told Mor to help and take Feyre away and then we hear nothing else from her. She's definitely up to something.

Omg! I never even thought about Tamlin and his heart! Maybe it was SJM's twisted way of trying to tell us who Tamlin truly is. I have a feeling we haven't seen every side of him yet and that there is a dark side which we have only touched upon. Or maybe every High Fae has a stone heart. That would also kind of make sense, as Rhysand says to Feyre to be "glad of her human heart". Is that another hint from SJM?

I think we are going to see Lucian become powerful in this third book. He's pretty much Tamlin's snarky sidekick at this point and I think Maas has set it up now where he will be his own strong character.

I`m so very sad to say this, but someone is going to die and it`s going to be a good character, meaning a person on the good side.
Feysand`s little bat boos, the first boo will be a boy, I`m quite sure. Feyre might be even pregnant (via tumblr), but the boy will be born after the war.
Feyre would be a little sly fox in the spring court, no doubt in that. And I think she will succeed in her schemes.
Something is definitely up with the sister`s father, no glue about it, but definitely something.
Feysand will be stronger than ever.
The end.

Feyre's dad has been away all this time conducting trade but also participating in that summit about the Fae threat. I wonder, though, if we'll learn that the greater threat is above the wall on the continent. What Fae live there? They are the threat that the Queens are concerned about.
Cassian said that they may need Drakon's aerial forces before the end. I really truly need to see a huge aerial battle full of Illyrians and siphons and anyone else who's bad ass. If Valeris could be held by the 4 Inner Circle until Rhys arrived, what the hell would a Fae battlefield look like?! Holy moly!

The ending? I read a book which was dedicated to SJMaas - it was said that she inspired the author to write down her greatest fears. (view spoiler)
So, I think SJMaas prefers ending that are not wholly satisfying for the main characters, but for the future of their world. (view spoiler)

The ending? I read..."
which book is this that inspired her?
That's definitely an intriguing possibility, I just had to comment on that!
On a side note, I also hope Lucien redeems himself and fights more actively. I think I'll enjoy this moment of Lucien and Feyre having to work together because of Elain, I can't wait for the banter either. I also have to agree - I am hoping for an earth shattering amazing scene once Tamlin realises the truth!! Oh it'll be good. I just hope we won't have be put through many paragraphs of Feyre declaring how much she "loves" Tamlin.
The next book can't come soon enough!

I want to know who was monitoring their movements while they were in the night court. It's hinted someone told Lucien they had been spotted around the area before he caught up to her. Is it someone tamlin befriend while he trained? Someone from under the mountain? I think it has to be someone we've at least met.
The king also references having allies in all courts. I think that's important.
The parallels between Mirayams story and Feyre are interesting. How Miryam was a slave, freed, fell in love with one guy, broke it off only to fall in love with another.
While Feyre wasn't a slave, she wasn't exactly free either and then she fell in love with Tamlin only to break it off and fall in love with Rhys. I think we will have to meet Mirayam if only because they are the original players. I find that such a fascinating comparison to the tog series.
I like the theory that Feyre is a descendent of Mirayams bloodline. She was half human and while I don't think she had kids and left them, perhaps she had siblings.
I think it's meaningful Elian never spoke after she turned. Maybe there just wasn't anything she needed to say or maybe there's more to her lack of speech.
I'm assuming Mor took Elian and Nesta to the same cottage she took Feyre to when Feyre wanted to get away. Perhaps they will reconnected to Feyre through all her artwork.
I go back and forth over what kind of person Tamlin in, but ultimately I think he's a good guy. Feyre makes a point to say that long after everything happens and at the castle he is genuinely upset her sisters are there.
Don't get me wrong, I don't like Tamlin. I had already decided I didn't like him in the first book when he didn't do anything at the end compared to Rhys going after amaranthe and then I hated him when I read the sneak peek and he was ignoring her being sick at night. But I also don't think he's the major villain. He has issues -- the whole childhood to contend with, the curse, etc. that doesn't excuse him and at this point I think the best route for his redemption is for him to die saving a main character -- Feyre, Rhys, or someone else.
I really liked Tarquin and hope we see him live happily ever after.
Curious to see what Armen is. I hope she gets freed and gets to go back to wherever she is from. I think dragon does seem like it's likely, but I hope for something more less known.
I wonder if perhaps all the things around the weaver will come into play. It's mentioned how strong they are.

This would be a great tie in in the third book, having Rhy's group go to meet up with Miryam and Drakon and helping recruit for the war and everything. Epic aerial battles please!
And while I would love it if Elain and Lucian ended up ruling the Spring Court together, Tamlin would most likely have to die for that to happen, for the power to be transferred to Lucian. Sad as that would be, I feel like it'd end up being for the greater good anyway and would give a finality to Fayre with regards to Tamlin.
Another thing to consider in the sequel would be the other (Three? Four?) queens that were going to jump into the Cauldron and turn all magic-y. Maybe they live, maybe they die, but if they live they could possibly turn out to be the King of Hybern's war generals or something equally terrifying. A veritable force to be reckoned with in the coming war.

A dragon! That actually fits so well! I had just assumed vampire because of the blood, but that seemed way too obvious. A dragon does fit much better if it's going to be a known mythical creature, because she said she preferred animal blood. It could always be a Maas-made creature, but I'm not actually minding the dragon idea...

The parallels of Miryam/Drakon to Feyre/Ryhsand history is crazy. I dont know why it took this theory to see it.

It doesn't give alot but on page 594 it says...
"Two birds with one stone, really. The High Lord of Night dead-and to learn who his friends were. It drove Jurian quite mad, honestly, that you never revealed it during those fifty years. So now you know, Jurian. And now you can do what you please with them."

On page 202...
"The carver picked up the bone Rhysand had bought him and weighed it those child's hands. "I shall carve your death in here, Feyre."

On page 202...
"The carver picked up the bone Rhysand had bought him a..."
Noooooooooo. That makes me want to cry.

That would be very entertaining to read xD
And then there’s Lucien & Elain being mates doesn’t that mean they can communicate together through the mate bond ‘’telepathically or whatever’’ or is it just a Feyre\Rhysand thing
I don’t really know if so Elain could probably become a spy OR push Lucian toward rebellion and helping Feyre
Or Feyre will persuade Lucian by using her sister ( ahh…..! this is seriously tiring I’ve been daydreaming for a whole week now and Imagining all sort of possibilities to the point of writing novel about it, a year is too much I want the book NOW T_T )

I think we're gonna see some messed up things at the Spring Court. Didn't Lucian say Tamlin hasn't been himself with Feyre gone? Maybe he meant the whole a..."
I think he showed Rhys when he was little.

I also cant wait for Nesta to be bad ass. Feyre painted flames on the dresser for her so I'm thinking that Nesta will have some hot powers to go with her temper.
I think Elaine and Lucien will be adorable.

On page 202...
"The carver picked up the bone Rhysand had bought him a..."
I took it to mean her historical death when Amarantha snapped her neck, especially since she described it to him (the bone carver) in such great detail.
Sarah Maas said Rhys/Feyre is 1000% end game, so I'm not too worried that they won't ultimately end up together and happy.

On page 202...
"The carver picked up the bone Rhysand had..."
Ahh never thought of it like that. That does make sense.

the night court, i really hope cassian can get his wings back or it will wreck both of the court and me (he doesn't deserve all of this) and i really can't think about its role against hybern bc it is really complicated i mean there will be totally a war but i don't know how.

I also feel like Fayre's Dad will return with a revelation (Possibly the Miryam theory) and this will explain their mother's death, which is rarely discussed, but also have lasting implications on what happens with the war. I feel that ultimately Miryam and Drakon are going to die in a similar way to Nicholas Flamel in Harry Potter to end the cauldren's magic and protect the relm.
Tamlin is also likely to die, but I think he will be redeemed. I think it will come after a major dip in his morality as he will be very angry and see Fayre being High Lady of Night Court as a betrayal at first but will eventually understand as a part of him still loves her. I can't really guess at the circumstances yet except for maybe he can't live with his own betrayal and sacrifices himself for her.
Also is the next book officially the last? I've not seen it myself and I'm secretly holding onto hope for many more books

Unfortunately it is! ACOTAR is a trilogy.

I'm curious how the Tamlin/Feyre sexual relationship will play out, too. It makes sense that he'd want to reclaim her that way (insecurity can be a bitch). But I will throw my book out a window if Tamlin and Feyre sleep together. On the one hand, it would strengthen Tamlin's trust in her, so I could her using it to her advantage. But on the other, RHYSAND. She can't do that to him!!! Not that she'd want to, but I hope she doesn't do it out of some "it's for the good of the plan" type thing. Assuming they don't have sex (all fingers crossed), I imagine she'll avoid it by citing PTSD from Rhysand and the horrors Tamlin thinks he put her through.
I think Elaine will struggle with being turned, but part of me is thinking that Nesta will actually thrive. I mean, she'll be pissed. Royally, so. But she's pissed at the people they're fighting against anyway, so while I think she'll give some push back at first (especially with Cassian, who I imagine will offer to train her), I think she'll be a huge asset. I don't want to underestimate, Elaine though, so we'll see. I definitely agree that Nessian should happen, but I wouldn't put it past Maas to kill Cassian after it does since he's the most lovable of the group.
I just hope there's enough Feysand. They have to use that connection somehow, but still. I want them together in person sooner than later.

You know, I never made the connection between him just raising his hand at the wedding (which really confused me at the time) and the later explanation about misting. What a badass.
This makes me super excited, cause you're right. We hear a lot about how he's the most powerful high lord to ever be born, but we haven't actually seen much from him. Oh the possibilities.

ALSO this would explain why SJM wrote acomaf before finishing tog

Can that happen?!?? And then manon can be with asterin (could totally see it)?!

A..."
How can I not saw that coming?!? In chapter 15, when Rhys was talking about his inner circle and mentioning who was his second, he said this:
"You'll see what I mean when you meet Amren. She looks High Fae, but something different prowls beneath her skin"
Then...
" she might be older than this city, but she's vain, and likes to hoard her baubles and belongings like a firedrake in a cave. So... be on your guard."
Sarah J Maas wrote firedrake! which means dragon is Germanic!
I am not sure if this is SJM's way of foreshadowing what Amren is. Or maybe it's just a coincidence, but feel free tell me what you think of this!

My feelings for this whole series: I'm so excited by the pointed sisters.

Hopefully Feyre can control Tamiln's mind into thinking that he had sex, but based on his actions in ACOMAF he'll probably rub it in Rhysand's face. Rhysand will try to hide it but will feel hurt since they can't seem to read each other's mind anymore, so Feyre can't even reassure him since they may have to still stay in character for the whole time. Lord, i just live for drama.

And Elaine was better? She let Freya hunt and fight for theri surviwal alone, just as Nesta did. She and Lucien, are much alike. Mayby because of that they are mates.
