SOLVED. Fae boy gets powers stolen by girl [s]

I believe the girl's name is Zoey.

I remember her and her partner (who she was in love with and was also a lot older than her) went to go fight two fae. Her partner dies. And she ends up getting the fae guy's powers.

The guy wants his powers back because without them he will die.

There was a talking monkey named sprig or something like that. He loves pancakes and honey.
