Just finished the Amanda Quick Box set I was working on. I'm also about halfway through my sequel which hopefully I can finish soon.

message 53: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments Awesome! I'll be finishing my sequel tomorrow or the day after

message 54: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments Just finished my second sequel! Next I'll be reading Library of Souls just so I can finish the series, then I'll start on my Lois Lowry boxed set.

message 55: by [deleted user] (new)

Sounds great! I'm more than halfway through my sequel and it'll be done by Friday at the latest. I've never read the Peregrine series, sounds like they are good though.

message 56: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments You should read them

message 57: by [deleted user] (new)

I guess I'll just have to see if my library has them.

message 58: by [deleted user] (new)

It does have them! Next time I got for more books I make sure to grab the series.

message 59: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments Yay!!

message 60: by [deleted user] (last edited May 28, 2016 03:43PM) (new)

Have you read The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman? If you haven't you should, because so far it is amazing. I know I haven't finished my sequel, a friend surprised me with a visit and she lives in Alberta while I'm in Ontario. I'm 70% finished so i just need a good hour or two to sit down and read it, and she is leaving tomorrow. Sorry about the wait.

message 61: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments I haven't but I'll definitely check it out! And it's fine!

message 62: by [deleted user] (new)

hey just thought I'd let you know that my friend is leaving tomorrow so I will be able to finish my sequel, but if you want to use Library of souls that's fine too.

message 63: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments Do you think you'd be able to connect your book to another boxed set? If not we can use your book since we were planning to

message 64: by [deleted user] (last edited Jun 01, 2016 09:53AM) (new)

Yeah I should have no problem with that, I'm reading a lot of vampire based novels so I can just tie it in with those. Sorry for not responding sooner.

message 65: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments It's fine! Then I'll use Library of Souls

message 66: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments Finished the first book for my Lois Lowry boxed set!

message 67: by [deleted user] (new)

nice! Did you like it?

message 68: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments Yes it was so good! Left off on a bit of a cliffhanger though

message 69: by [deleted user] (new)

But that just makes waiting to get to the next book at the more frustrating and fun :p

message 70: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments Pretty much!!

message 71: by [deleted user] (new)

I understand that frustration right now, I just finished a really good book but I have to wait for the second one to come in at the library.

message 72: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments What book?

message 73: by [deleted user] (new)

Nicole wrote: "What book?"

it was The Smoke Thief, it's a unique take on Dragons, with a healthy dose of romance to tie it all together. It was very good. I also just completed another boxed set.

message 74: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments It sounds really good. And yay!

message 75: by [deleted user] (new)

I just finished another boxed set, I feel like I've gotten a lot of reading done with this challenge. Do you know what day exactly this ends, I thought it wa the 14th but I'm not sure.

message 76: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments It's the 14th!

message 77: by [deleted user] (new)

Thanks! My next challenge starts on the 17th so I wanted to make sure I leave enough room beforehand to finish up some other things.

message 78: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments That works out perfectly then!

message 79: by [deleted user] (last edited Jun 09, 2016 06:08PM) (new)

yeah, I'm actually really excited about this next challenge. I've been reading a lot more than usual lately and I'm hoping to make a dent in my TBR list, even though the more I read the more Books I add :p Also if my calculations are correct we've managed a good 30 or more points for this challenge.

message 80: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments Yeah we did great on this challenge!! And reading challenges always help with TBR lists haha

message 81: by [deleted user] (new)

I just completed another boxed set!!

message 82: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments Yay! I'll be finishing the last book in my boxed set today or tomorrow

message 83: by [deleted user] (new)

Yay! are you enjoying your books?

message 84: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments I am! And you?

message 85: by [deleted user] (new)

The last one, In the Serpent's Coilswas only so-so, but I'm about to finish a really good one. I'm about 20 pages from finishing Blood Ninja and I'm loving it.

message 86: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments That's great!

message 87: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah, I would have loved to have given it a higher rating, but there was this one character that I loathed and made it a harder read. I hate it when that happens.

message 88: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments I've read books like that. It's terrible because it ruins the book that you otherwise would have liked

message 89: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments Finished my Lois Lowry set!

message 90: by [deleted user] (new)

Congrats! I've just posted two boxed sets, and I hopefully will have my last one done tomorrow.

message 91: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments Nice! This was such a fun challenge

message 92: by [deleted user] (new)

it really was, my TBR list is down like 15 books. I never would have read this much without this challenge to motivate me :)

message 93: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments Same! I didn't read quite as many books, but I did make a good dent in my TBR list

message 94: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm really glad I choose the fun team, if I had a forced limit I never would have gotten so many books done. I'm weird in how I don't like to force myself to read a set number of books or any particular book, especially for school. Ruins the fun for me.

message 95: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments Same! Assigned books for school are terrible. It always takes me forever to get back to my normal reading

message 96: by [deleted user] (new)

yep, But then after I don't need to read them for school anymore I'll eventually read them for fun. And I'm always surprised that I usually enjoy them.

message 97: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments Really? I usually don't re-read school books

message 98: by [deleted user] (new)

I a bit of a completist, so even when I THINK I won't like a book in my collection I read it so that I can say I have and mark it as read in in my inventory. I own over 500 books, and it's my mission right now to make sure I have read all of them, so that's how I end up reading the many books I bought for school.

message 99: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolemelnyk) | 134 comments I'm the same way, I have to read every book I have, and once I start it I have to finish it

message 100: by [deleted user] (new)

Exactly, so while I get a bad book every once in a while I also tend to read more books that I normally wouldn't and finding new genres and authors I like along the way.
