Veronica (readingonthefly) | 694 comments I figured I'd make a separate thread for pictures of some of the places Sebastian visits in this book since it might make it easier for people to find it.

Grosvenor Square: Earl of Hendon has a townhouse here

Close up view of the exterior of some of the townhomes:

Map view of Grosvenor Square - note the proximity to Brook Street where Sebastian lives (you can also see the tip of the green area marking Berkeley Square near the bottom right (home of the Jarvis family):

Found some house plans for what the interior looked like:

Brook Street- where Sebastian lives: exterior of a townhouse on that street:

Berkeley Square: Home of Hero Jarvis - exterior shot of townhomes

Interior house plan for a Berkeley townhome

The Row in Hyde Park- one of the places Sebastian tracked Miss Jarvis

Vanessa, these are WONDERFUL! I was hoping you would do this. Great idea to set up a separate topic.

One of my interests is architecture and interior/space design. These drawings are like catnip for me:)

I've wondered how accurate my imagination was in how I pictured their living space. I wasn't that far off but was unclear how they allocated the space between the ground and first floors. This helps me a lot.

I couldn't have been more far off, though, about Hyde Park. They referred to it being busy but my vision wasn't near as crowded.

I'm going to refer to this throughout the rest of the series! I'll link it to the series page in the main group.

Veronica (readingonthefly) | 694 comments My pleasure, Jonetta. I tried to find some houseplans for a Brook street townhome; I've always had the impression that it's not as big and grand as Hendon's (which seems to come complete with a two story ballroom!), but I couldn't find any that were big enough for me to make anything out. I also tried to find a picture of the London House which was the Archbishop's official London residence at that time but no luck.

I'm impressed you found these!

Phrynne | 607 comments Fantastic pictures Veronica. I know how these places look today but it is amazing to see how they were then. The Hyde Park one is especially amazing:)

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Wow! These are incredible. Thanks Veronica!

Her pics are the highlight of these group reads. I'm every so grateful. The townhouse replica for Sebastian's Brook Street townhouse is still in my head for the current book!

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments Ditto, thanks for all these visual aids!

Veronica (readingonthefly) | 694 comments You're all welcome. I'm always looking this stuff up while I'm reading so sharing what I find is no trouble at all. :-)
