The Cliffs of Tears

[Elias]

Chung Hei glanced at Daichi and smiled slightly, she shouldn't worry so much. She was sure it would be fine, she was just over thinking again. It won't be long now. She sips her tea again, waiting patiently for the portal to open. This wasn't for herself, this was for Jade, the poor girl who went two thousand years without her full abilities. Without being able to fight for herself, she was doing this for her.

[Nina {ᴡᴏʀᴅs ᴀɴᴅ ᴡᴀᴛᴇʀ}, ~ Queen of Hell ~]

A short while later, after more tea sipping and glances that Daichi showed between the miko and Chung Hei, the miko moved. She stopped sipping her tea, placed her tea cup down in an elegant manner and looked at Daichi. Then she glanced over at the erect stone circle. "It is opening," she said quietly. And sure enough, as she spoke, a sheen of blue slowly crawled up the open space within the stone circle. Outside, Daichi was sure the sun was setting.

[Elias]

Chung Hei continued sipping her tea, contemplating what to do or what to say. She opened her eyes add the miko moved and gently set her cup down before looking towards the doorway. The sun is setting... She was going to meet the creator, honestly she was a little nervous.

The miko stood, and with a polite bow, gestured to the stone gateway, "if you please," she said. Daichi nodded, also standing, and after waiting fr Chung Hei to stand as well, he walked over to the portal. On the other side...'god' would be there. And for the first time, Daichi would have the honour of seeing them face to face. It was a little startling to know. Last he checked, Daichi was just an ordinary angel.

[Elias]

Chung Hei stood and swallowed her nervousness, this would be her first time seeing the creator- seeing god. It was nerve racking and exciting at the same time, yet she amazed herself by being able to walk without shaking. Following Daichi to the portal, she looked at him before looking back to the portal and waiting.

[Nina {ᴡᴏʀᴅs ᴀɴᴅ ᴡᴀᴛᴇʀ}, ~ Queen of Hell ~]

When the blue surface of the portal was complete, the miko bowed, and said, "if you would be so kind to step through, Amaterasu will see you." The miko remained bowed, her head down, her hands lying on top of each other and resting on her thighs. Daichi looked over at Chung Hei, "ladies first?"

Chung Hei nodded and bowed to the miko. "Thank you." She faced the portal and bit her lip. For Jade. She took a deep breath and stepped through the portal.

Kagari stood on the cliff looking out onto the sunset. She leave on her scythe slightly. She waited for the sun to go down so she could watch the night usher the stars out "Just a while longer" she said to herself.

A male voice says behind her,"You waiting for someone?" Of course, he knew the girl didn't know him, but he knew her. He didn't know everyone like, say, Satan did. But, he knew her. If he found someone interesting he would wait it out a few days and watch them from afar to gain intell, which that's exactly what he did with Kagari. He then follows her gaze out to the night sky as he waited for her reply. Since they didn't know each other, he was quiet and calm for once.. Much like the wind was this very night.

Kagari smirked and replied without looking at the owner of the voice "Yes, actually. I'm waiting for the stars". She shifted feet as she turned to face the voice. The flounces of her dress bounced up and down.

Hirato smirks, joking,"Waiting for a meteor to come down and crash into you? Sorry to break it to you, but they usually land in oceans for one, and you'd have to try harder then that to escape this world. Who knows, it might just make you paralyzed and you'd have to live like that forever."

Kagari's smirk didn't fade "That's quite an imaginative reason. Alas, thats not why I am here. I merely enjoy the company of the stars"

Hirato blinks, smirking,"That so? Care to explain why? They look quite lonely.. They may look close to each other, but each star is miles away from the next one.."

Kagari sighed and gazed at the stars "That's why I feel a connection to them, they are just like me. Each one is on it's lonesome, however don't need each other to emit a blinding light"

Hirato smirks,"How.. Deep.. But I assure you you aren't alone.. You may feel like you are, but you aren't.. Trust me.. I feel like that constantly, yet im here too.. Just like you.."

Kagari smiled sideways at the man "Oh? And who might my companions happen to be? And why should I trust a man of whom I have just met"

Hirato smirks,"The darkness? Its your Ally.. Helps you stay hidden at nights.."

Kagari nodded "That is true to some extent" she turned to look at the man with a smirk "but how would you know of such things about me?"

He smirks, eyeing her,"Well, if you found out, that would ruin the secret.."

Kagari chuckled "And what sort of secret would that be?"

He smirks,"A good secret, that's for sure." He then stretches, staring back up at the stars.

Kagari chuckled "Well secretive matters aside, I don't believe we were properly introduced" she curtsied slightly towards the man "Kagari Zekka, Reaper, pleased to make your acquaintance"

He blinks nodding and smirks, just holding a hand out to her unprofessionally,"Hirato Suzuo, Reaper as well, and I assure you the pleasure is all mine."

Kagari smirked as she shook his hand "Well that explains the act of politeness"

He smirks,"Hey wait, you complaining about my politeness? Now that's just cold, I got it from following you around for 8 weeks straight." He jokes.

Kagari raised an eyebrow, still smiling "Oh? So you've been following me around. Well you certainly have gotten my knack for politeness, however I can't say much about your knack for stalking" she joked "I guess that's why you know so many things about me"

He blinks lightly in confusion before crossing his arms,"I never admitted to following you.. I uh.. Was joking.." He lightly smirks,"Its how I gain my intell, impressed?"

Kagari smiled skeptically as Hirato blinked with confusion. She put a hand on her hip "Yes, I'm quite impressed. However I usually prefer talking to people rather than stalking them to gain knowledge. They just end up being to idiotic to ask why I need the details of their day to day activities"

He smirks, shrugging,"Thats why you have to be professional about it, that so bad?" He looks up,"Theirs a lot of things that you can learn from watching afar then you can by talking, sometimes people will lie to impress others, or just hide secrets.. But if you watch from afar, they cant.."

Kagari nodded with understanding "Much more knowledge is gained by looking at the bigger picture. However, some of the tiniest and most important pieces of information can only be gained form talking to people" she shifted slightly "For instance, just from talking to you, I can tell that you like the darkness"

Hirato blinks,"Yeah.. Because I just told you.." He laughs,"But yes you're true.. Its why I decided to talk to you now.."

Kagari blinked "Really?" she stared out at the stars, now clearly evident in the night sky "Usually people fear me for that reason. Few don't"

He blinks,"They fear you because you talk to them?"

She laughed "Well, let's just say my intellect sort of creeps them out. Only sophisticated minds can understand each other. The stupid are completely oblivious to the language I use"

He shrugs,"Well, guess you've been around the wrong type of people.. If stupid people hate smart people, its as stupid as being racist."

Kagari chuckled "That's why they are classified as stupid"

He chuckles,"Again you are correct.. Though jealousy wont solve anything in this day and age.. Havent you seen the others around here? They gain enemies when one person flirts with their crush.. If we have enemies then it will be harder to survive in this school."

Kagari smirked "That's why you keep your friends close, and enemies closer" she sighed "And I try to make allies, but none of the others in this school have anything to offer a completely evolved Reaper such as I"

Hirato nods,"Thats how I feel.." He then smirks,"Well.. Theirs you.. Would you be my partner? Every reaper needs a partner apparently, so I've been failing my group classes.."

Kagari leant on her scythe as she looked Hrato up and down with a smirk "Sure. If you have something to offer, which I'm sure you do"

Hirata smirks,"Oh really? Alright, name is and it shall be yours."

He smirks, nodding,"So its a yes then?"

Kagari nodded "Yes. I believe two intellectual geniuses are better than one"

Hirato nods, smirking,"Good." He then glances up at the stars,"You have a dorm to return to tonight?"

She shook her head "No, not yet. They had problems with my admission files"

He nods,"You could stay in my dorm for now if you want, I have no room mate as of yet.."
