Catsalive | 1467 comments I'm back to work that weekend after some lovely hols so I don't know how I'll go. I will be on nights so there's a chance to read, but I may be so tired after having a break from the shifts that reading might put me to sleep.

Wow! 55 participants so far :)

Don't forget everyone - it starts at midnight Thursday night/Friday morning and finishes midnight Sunday night. Post daily if you can - but definitely Sunday night before you go to bed. No later than midday Monday with your final totals please.

You can give a running total in your posts - a grand total in your final post. Make sure you tell us what books you've read - link them too if you can :)

Good luck and happy reading!!!

Looking forward to this!
I'd probably post my grand total on Monday morning though, doubt I'd read as much as I can on Sunday evening prior to conking out ;p

MaryG2E (goodreadscommaryg2e) | 934 comments I've got my first book for this challenge poised, ready to start at 12.01am! Can't wait to begin Murder With the Lot by Sue Williams, after reading Marianne's great review last week. Chocolate and really good red wine on the side table. Ready, set....

Brenda | 79974 comments Mod
Good luck Mary! Fast reading ahead ;) I'm currently reading Don't Say a Word by Jennifer Jaynes so will pick up from the midnight percentage. I'm also going to finish LaRose by Louise Erdrich

message 131: by Melissa (new)

Melissa I'm thinking I'll start with Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde and Other Stories by Robert Louis Stevenson , move on to The Savage Altar by Åsa Larsson and then just go from there :)

message 132: by Karen (new)

Karen (winterscomin) | 125 comments Well if we're posting up books... I'm currently reading The Ask and the Answer (Chaos Walking, #2) by Patrick Ness - Patrick Ness, so at very least I'm hoping to finish this book (I have a bit over 100 pages left). Then I'll have either The Gray Wolf Throne (Seven Realms, #3) by Cinda Williams Chima - Cinda Williams Chima, or Lord of Chaos (Wheel of Time, #6) by Robert Jordan - Robert Jordan. Or perhaps I'll make a start on both of them, just because I can?

I don't expect to get much, if any, reading done on Sunday so will try and cram as best I can beforehand :)

Wow, did you start reading at 12:01am, Mary? I think I fell asleep before 11pm though would love to have slept from 8 ;p

First day at the gym yesterday after months' absence so was bugged.

message 149: by Sally906 (new)

Sally906 | 86 comments I've picked up Summer on Blossom Street by Debbie Macomber - I need a comfort read as my boss, and close friend's, father died of cancer late yesterday - I knew him so feeling a bit blue. Still not unexpected - and in the end a relief he is out of his suffering now but still not easy.

Nothing like a bit of fluff to cheer you up :)

message 150: by Deb (new)

Deb Omnivorous Reader | 1929 comments Read until 1AM, so got a bit of a start :} On the down side I hadn't set an alarm, so I missed midnight. I may have missed a few pages.
