Series name didn't update

I created a series for the Dr. David Grant novels by George B. Mair named "A Dr. David Grant Counterespionage Novel". After adding several titles, I shortened the series name to "Dr. David Grant", then finished adding all ten books in the series.

The series page looks fine, but the author page still displays the series link with the original name "A Dr. David Grant Counterespionage Novel" and only one book.

What did I do wrong and can this be fixed?

there is a 24 / 48 hour cache on the author page, wait that amount of time and look again.

if it has been that time report it in GR Feedback group
