Dates read: April 10th - May 5th
Summary: The Fifth wave is about a girl named Cassie. After all the destruction of the earth caused by the aliens that want to inhabit the earth Cassie finds something suspicious. Her family died except her brother. She tries to save her brother. What seems to be the military take all the younger humans into a military camp and train them to kill the aliens. She meets a man named Evan Walker trains her to fight. The military aren't who they seem to be and some of the young humans figure that out. They fight back to help the human race survive.

Personal Reaction: Personally I didn't really like this book. It didn't really make that much sense until the very end. I don't really like books that have to do with aliens. Unexpected ending made the book a little better. I did like how it put the details of the fighting. It made it a little more interesting. The ending kind of left me hanging though. Overall it wasn't that great but i recommend it to people who like the Divergent series.

Summary: This book is about a girl named Cassie she was just your regular high school student. So one day a alien ship came down and there were five waves. If I tell you about the waves it will kind of destroy the point of you reading so. So in the end her and her brother and some other people are the only ones that know what’s going on. So at this point in time it is a fight to survive.
Personal Reaction: I really liked this book because there was a ton of action and lots of twists and turns to go around and that what I like to see in books because that’s what hooks you. The only thing really bad about it witch really wasn’t that bad was that it was kind of predictable in some parts.
