It's 1:00am right now so I'll say the stuff from the past few days since not anything has really happened "today."
June 18th and earlier:
So for y'all who don't know, I'm in Eielson, AK right now on a mission trip with my youth group. I've been splitting logs for the past few days and my arms are really sore. The kids at VBS are little terrors, I've found it's easier to keep track of them if they're numbered, so I've got little kid numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. More than anything though, I miss my girlfriend like crazy, it's been an entire WEEK since I last saw her. I'm really tired right now so I'm gonna go to sleep.
Goodnight y'all's!

Man, this summer has been busy so far, it seems like I haven't posted in here for weeks... oh wait, I haven't posted in here for weeks...
Well anyways, the summer has been busy, let see, I've been going on runs almost everyday for the past month or two, I've been to Eielson, AK on a week long mission trip splitting logs and building sheds, I hiked Crow Pas last weekend: 26 miles on foot through a mountain pass carrying a 25 pound pack, and crossing the Eagle River. I've also been all over Anchorage preparing for my brother's wedding. Still to come: driving down to Seward to watch Mount Marathon, my brother's wedding, a week long of camp at lynx lake, dip netting the Kenai River for our annual 50 fish that we catch, then it's the start of the XC season and before I know it back to school. *sigh* Sometimes I wish life would slow down.
~Stefan, thanks you for listening to, The Bashkir Channel

Well, it happened, the big day is over. After tons of preparation, decoration, and planning, I successfully got my brother married and out on his own, one out, one to go. You're next Brenden! (Hehehehehe) Anyways, I'm still not realizing that my brother is married, it's just bizarre. It keeps hitting me at random times and then I forget again. Like halfway through the ceremony while I was standing there doing whatever groomsmen are supposed to do during ceremonies (stand there and try to look happy) and it hit me. I mean, I've been to plenty of weddings and there all very much the same in what goes on. But it hit me, this is my brother's wedding. This is my brother standing there saying those vows to my now sister in-law. Marriages are interesting, happy events, but they're odd when it's your brother who you've known for your whole life as just your brother, not your brother as a married man.
~Stefan Bashkir, please stay tuned for more posts here on The Bashkir Channal

Sorry about the delay y'alls. After my brother's wedding I went to a week long church camp on Lynx Lake. Then last weekend I went down to Kenai, AK to go dip netting. I'll start with camp. Camp was really fun, I got to go kneeboarding almost every day, got fed, and got to see a lot of old friends.
Dip netting was kinda slow, we only caught 20 salmon, and a few of them were pinks. I caught 13 of them though, that was pretty fun. We went out on a boat early in the morning, I caught a bunch of fish, then I took a nap. This is a 16 foot boat people, with three other people on it, a cooler full of salmon and two 4' wide nets, it wasn't easy. Then when I woke up I ate a bunch. So all in all, it was a good day.
-~- Stefan Bashkir, thank you, and please post your thoughts on, Your thoughts on... The Bashkir Channel*

I'm so happy! What I didn't say earlier was that for the past 11 days my girlfriend has been on vacation. And I've been missing her sooooo much. But she's back now! And I just feel so happy and wonderful now, with the realization that I'll see her soon! :)
On a different note, school is in like two weeks. What!? Where did the summer go!?!? All the things I didn't do, all the places I didn't go! And for me the XCRunning season starts Monday! Is it just me or do summers seem to be shorter the older you are? Well anyways, I gotta go. I'm driving up to Wasilla, AK to help my aunt move.
<>Stefan Bashkir, well bye y'alls. I hope you enjoyed today's show, and insight upon my life. If you likey then please post your thoughts on the your thoughts thread, if you no likey then still, please post on the Your thoughts on... The Bashkir Channal

Everything seems so ordinary. Life goes on, the days go by. Doesn't the world know that I'm going to highschool in a couple weeks!? And I'm ready, I can't wait. And yet everything is normal, yet that in itself is unsettling... But alas, there is always the unnatural calm before the storm. Can't school just hurry up and come instead of hiding around the corner!?
|-Stefan Bashkir, the impatient one.

The world is askew, life is backwards, I'm upside down. How did this happen to me? How could you do this? Don't you know how I feel? How could you put me through this? HOW!?? Don't answer those questions. I know the answers. Besides, in the end, the answers are irrelevant.
I'm still in pain.
~the crying one, the one I pain, the one who doesn't know what to do.
Thank you, for all that you've given me. Thank you, for ALL THIS HURT!

*sigh* I'm finally just getting over the shock, the crying, and now I'm just struggling with acceptance. Most of me is still here, but some is lost. I'm not the same, but I'm here.
On a different note, school for me is tomorrow! What!? Where's all my freedom? Oh well. Goodbye summer. Heeelloo high school! Well, I'll be seeing some of you goodreaders there so see you soon!
~David Webb, Will you commit to our program? (and congrats to those of you who got that reference)

Dang, I haven't been on my journal in a looooooong time. Look, there's still a few cobwebs, ugh, I don't like those things. Well, time to clear up all the dust. "I must have broom!" lol, I just watched a Rhett and Link video, ( if you don't know them, I'll send a link, hehehe, for Rhett and Link.) well, it seems like there's so much to catch up on but I don't have much time sooooo, I think I'll say what happened today and for the next couple days just update y'all on the past whatever days I missed.
Today:
Well, not much happened, I slept in, ate a large breakfast then cleaned over half of the downstairs floor, went to a ski swap and bought a pair of skis and a really nice pair of skate boots (rosignal xiums, if that means anything to you) and now I'm about to watch a movie with my family so...
Bye! And Goodnight to the part of the world where people are going to sleep! Good morning to those waking up and good afternoon to the rest, (even if its not afternoon)
~David Webb, over and out.
*grins*
Look what I did!
