Nick Morelli is featured again in the story. Were you surprised to learn he's engaged? Do you think Maggie still has feelings for him?

I was surprised to learn this at the time because I thought that Kava would come back to their relationship. Things have happened since then that have me rethinking their romance.

Kava has treated the romance as if it's between two high schoolers. I wish she'd just leave it alone. Nick's relationship with his fiancée leaves a lot to be desired. I'm just disappointed in this aspect of the series and it's an annoying distraction.

I thought that Nick's feelings were unrealistic, since Maggie was married when they first were attracted to each other. It is a bit of soap opera romance, isn't it?

I don't know if Maggie still has feelings for him. After their initial meeting in this book, she seemed to be concentrating on the case. I don't think it really bothered her to see Nick again. On the other hand, Nick definitely has feelings for her. His fiancee?....Not so much.

Yeah, his fiancée seemed to have a different agenda:)
