Maggie was more focused on profiling in this story. How would you rate her performance?

About six out of ten. But better than the previous books.

I didn't think it was fair to pull her off the female decapitations case to travel alone for the second set of male decapitations. She hardly had time to breathe, and I think she was scattered by being tied to too many things at once. --and this is before Father Keller contacts her.

Again, her partner is on vacation, so she's alone. At least I give her credit for thinking outside the box about multiple suspects in theory.
