Hello!!
As you all know, May's theme was your favorite leading lady in a book and now it is time to get a few ideas for June's theme which is your favorite main man in a book! Same rules as May. Hearing about everyone's leading lady was fun and I think this one will be equally as awesome! Happy reading everyone!

Yes! I imagine Cormoran as Mark Ruffalo, but taller.

Whether this gets voted as BOTM or not I will be reading this in the near future!

I've read all three and really love them. The third has a little cliffhanger in the very last line of the book that is kind of irritating, but it insures my purchasing the book the second it's available!

Haha don't you just love/hate that?

Jenny (mentha) | 333 comments Can I suggest the first of the Dresden Files? Very, very enjoyable. :D

OOOOHH I have been wanting to read those books for soo long! I actually have the audio version of the first book but just haven't gotten to it yet :/

Jenny (mentha) | 333 comments You've been missing out! Not to mention that Dresden is a ... well ... maley male. So it fits the theme perfectly.

haha great way of explaining it!! I have been on a serious podcast kick the last couple of weeks because I've been listening to 'Those Conspiracy Guys' and I just haven't been able to put that down long enough to listen to an audio book. I'll do it this weekend though! I mean it! :D

Jenny (mentha) | 333 comments I've just been writing essays and are lagging behind on my reading so much. Ugh, one more month and then its summer. No more allnighters trying to get the last details done.

Good choice! I've read the first six or seven books, I think, and enjoyed them a lot. Each one gets better, and more complex. I recommend them, Lisa.

All right, he might not be my absolute male character (I cannot pick just one,) but I'm going with A Confederacy of Dunces

Thank you. I love the book and Ignatius J. Reilly very, very much!!! It's the second funniest book I've ever read! I'm glad you're loving it!

Surprisingly no but I do own it. Just one of those books I've had on my 'To Read' list for years that I've never gotten around to.

Kandice, I imagine Cormoran as a young Vincent D'Onofrio

Also, I have read all 3 as well, year after year because I started the series so early on. i hate having to wait a whole year between books to find out what happens next! and i have ideas on what is going to happen in the next book and i hope i am right =)

Isn't that so exciting! As much as I love having all of a series to speed through, there will always be a small part of me that loves the build up of anticipation while waiting for the next in the series.
