The party went well! yeahh I'm happy! It's just hard for me to follow the conversation in the book sometimes. Person A asks a question and then Andie tells a story or something and then Person B answers, but most of the time I have already forgotten what the question was...

I can't believe she isn't in the program!! I had not read the backside of the book (still haven't), so I had no idea what to expect (I started reading it because a friend reccomended it)... I looked forward to having an exciting story about her experience in the program, but I guess that won't happen :/...

I like the emojis too, I'm curious as to whether Toby will manage to keep talking in this summer.. Normally I'm not a particular fan when an author uses text messages in a book, but with this book I think it's actually very well done.

O yeahh and I got a fictional crush on Clarke.... I mean a writer, glasses, and cute and akward? I really hope he will continue to be this cute throughout the book.

I miss a little bit of a plot... I mean till now it's all about Andie surviving the summer somehow. And either I just read over the details, but I irritate myself a little that I don't know almost anything about the experience of the sidecharacters. (Which are by the way well written and real)

Other than that I think it's an amazing book and I like the writing style and the story very much! (hide spoiler)]

I just knew something along these lines would happen! although didn't see her father returning to work coming. I so hope that everything will be alright at the end (it probably will).. Everything went so well with almost all the characters for such a long time that I've really started to care about them.

It's a really good book and I enjoy the writing style and story line immensely. Maybe it's because I'veread a lot of fantasy books lately that I've forgotten how good these kind of books could be...

I likeddd it very much!! It was a well written book and something what really helped were the multiple story lines. The book didn't just resolve around one aspect of Andies life but around multiple relationships.

I love how Andie learned how to let go of her control at the ending. I was so afraid she would build walls up again, as she had while breaking up with Clarke. And the ending with her confessing love to Clarke at the reading was so awesome! I didn't see it coming.

Overall I found the book a bit predictable at some places. Everyone just knew that Bri and Wyatt were sleeping together and I think Andies reaction to that was ridicolous (as if she really believed that keeping it a secret was the best option). The characters were very real and well written, and the only drawback was that Clarke had a lack of flaws.

Wow! You read really really really fast! I'm just in the middle of chapter 10 (53% of the book) and I'm about to read your updates previous to that.

(view spoiler)[I like Clark but I don't really have a crush on him, I think there's something missing, like I don't know him enough yet, I hope we get to know him better.

I also think that this book is lacking a real plot. I think this book is only supposed to be about Andie's relationship with Clark and her father but I'd appreciate something more. I don't know... I'm also enjoying it so far, because it's an easy, fast and interesting read but it's lacking of something.

Finally, I have to say that my favourite character (apart from Andie, which I really like) is Tom, he's so funny!(view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]

I agree that a plot was indeed a bit missing, sometimes it felt to me like the book had already reached the happy ending.

Yeahh, Tom is also one of my favourite characters, but with Andie I'm not so sure. Like I relate to her in the way of having ambitions and always being busy but I sometimes feel like she's just a little bit too controlling on certain things.

Well it depends on what you want. If you want a easy book for which you don't have to think a lot, but still like the characters and care about them, this is the perfect book for you. But if you want something with a lot of things happening and a real plot, I would think twice before reading it.

I'm in the middle of chapter 18. I'm enjoying the read and I'm glad I picked it up. I mean, it won't be my favourite book of the year (or even maybe the month) but it's a nice read.

Well, and I also see a happy ending with Clark and Andie, I'm glad that he told her that he can stay for the year too. Andie was so stupid saying the things she said that I wanted to slap her in the face. But I think that now she is starting to regret what she did. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ This is a great book but honestly? 3/4 of it was a too good to be true fairytale. I could see Bri and Wyatt coming from a mile away! There were no fights and no drama and even the drama in the end could've been avoided if it wasn't for Andie's silly decision. The fact that the drama started because of that really annoyed me. The ending was bittersweet but at least it wasn't a fairytale. (hide spoiler)]
