For my latest book, FAB (Friends Against Bullying) Club, I'm experimenting with a couple of things. I've had the book edited by FirstEditing.com (highly recommended. For more info, see my blog), but I wanted more feedback on how the book reads. So about a dozen of my friends are doing a crowd edit. It's a great way to get feedback on how the book works in the real world before going to publication. And it has given me a lot of editing to do!
You can read more about the process of that on the blog, http://alexhallatt.wordpress.com .
The other thing I am trying is Wattpad. It is meant for older readers, but if you want to see the final draft of the book (and feedback is welcome), I'm serialising it there.

FAB (Friends Against Bullying) Club is the story of how the best club ever got started. When Jake, Ravi and Toby get bullied by Dave’s gang, they form a club: Friends Against Bullying. They invite Ruth to join, but she’s not too keen, until she becomes a victim of bullying herself. FAB Club grows from strength to strength until Dave’s gang find a way to hit them where it hurts. But FAB Club rises up again to bring the bullies down to earth. Friends Against Bullying - Join the Club!
