Feyre (view spoiler)[interesting that she seems to have gained the abilities fromt he other high lords when they helped save her in the last book. It will be interesting to see what other abilities she has gained. I like that she is taking a stand against Tamlin to let her have some freedoms back. I also liked when she helped out the one who couldn't pay their tithe. (hide spoiler)]

Tamlin (view spoiler)[I still like him even though he is being frustrating in this one. The only explanation that I can think of as to why he seems oblivious to Feyres trouble sleeping and feeling sick all the time is that he feels responsible and that he does not know how to help her. I wish that he would help train her how to fight though. She will always be a target and keeping her isolated will not help her. (hide spoiler)]

Rhys (view spoiler)[so I am liking this character more and more each time I see him. I love that he is helping Feyre learn to read and to learn how to block people from going through her mind. Even though I like Tamlin, and I don't foresee that changing, I do feel myself changing sides the more Rhys enters the story. (hide spoiler)]

Tam is desperate and crazed. He loves Feyre. and is terrified of loosing her. She is like a bird that wants to fly and he clips her wings because he is scared that if she flies she may get hurt.
That part is selfish, so incredibly selfish. But I get it. He had been through some horrible crap. He is doing what he thinks is best. But Feyre's wants and needs should be heard too, that part upsets me.

Tamlin (view spoiler)[ugh I wish he would listen to Lucien and train her. I hated that he shielded the house so she couldn't leave. I wish he would realize what type of prison he is sentencing her to. He is so afraid of losing her that it's clouding his judgement and pushing her away in the process. Curious if he is going to try and find a way to take Feyre from the night court. (hide spoiler)]

Rhys (view spoiler)[I'm glad that he is offering her his court to stay. He seems to be the best one to train Feyre at this point since Tamlin is so against it. (hide spoiler)]

Tamlin(view spoiler)[ is honestly, insufferable. He is almost completely degrading her - he's blocking her off, isolating her. it's painful to read him just sweeping what she's feeling or saying away with one "not right now" kind of attitude and almost making her feel guilty or like a bad person for some of the things she feels. But she's just as guilty, letting him control and own her like this.
I can't imagine why he doesn't comfort her or try to help her. his guilt is cutting them off from each other (hide spoiler)]

Also, it can't be good that her sister Elain is marrying the Kings son. I feel that it's all a ploy to get to Feyre. I loved how Cassian stood up for her to Nesta. Feyre is such a strong character and it;s great seeing her learn how to use her talents and how to control them. (hide spoiler)]

Rhys (view spoiler)[he has quickly taken over being my favorite character. I love how much he has worked to keep his friends and land safe. I loved that Feyre was there for him to help through his nightmare. It was a really sweet scene. I love the letter scenes between Feyre and Rhys and I can't wait to read more of them. I am curious to see the proof he will show to queens to convince them to turn over their half of the book. (hide spoiler)]

Feyre (view spoiler)[I love how strong she has gotten, she really is a force to be reckoned with. I love that she also save Rhys. That was a total tense scene and she was ruthless which was great to see. The scene with Lucian was a little sad, I am glad that she stood up to him and refused to go back. I wish that he was there for her more when Tamlin was being far too overprotective. I hope she doesn't stay mad too long either. I honestly think she is overreacting to how Rhys handled things. Lucien (view spoiler)[I did not see that coming that Elain would be his mate. It will be very interesting to see if he will side with Tamlin or not now that Elain is in the Night Court. Despite that end I still like Lucien as a character, he just has too much blind faith in Tamlin that he needs to break. I have a feeling though that Lucien will eventually side with Feyre and the night court. (hide spoiler)]

Nesta and Elain (view spoiler)[that was sad to seem them forced to be Fae against their will. That cauldron will not be a good thing it can be used to make armies. I am liking the idea of Nesta and Cassian together too, curious to see if anything comes of that. They will be safe in the night court. It will be interesting to see if Elain feels the mate bond with Lucien and how she will react to it. (hide spoiler)]

Rhys (view spoiler)[sad to see him watch Feyre go back with Tamlin. Even though they both know it's all a plan, he will not be able to help her out of the spring court if it comes down to it, he finally has Feyre as his mate only to have her ripped away again. I love Rhys. (hide spoiler)]

In another fan forum on Goodreads, someone suggested that he might actually try to rape Feyre, which seemed impossible to me at first, but now? I could actually see it happening, which is scary.
