Merged (=deleted) the edition you had created. Updated the remaining edition, which had the isbn.

When a book has an isbn, that is usually the best way to search for it.
Marilou, do you know what the correct order is of the French series? There are also two volumes Sven le revenant calling themselves Northlanders #1 and #2, but according to the series page, they are #1 part 1 and #1 part 2 instead.https://www.goodreads.com/series/5862...
It's a bit confusing. Maybe a separate French series should be made.
to Arenda : Thank you very much, that is exactly what I wanted!Making a separate French series was what I wanted to do in the start. But, well... it didn't work!
The french publisher wanted to reorder the stories in the serie so that they would fit better in space and time. So they published 3 volumes where there are 7 in english.
The first tome is : Northlanders 9-10, 18-19, 1-8, 41 and 11-16
The second is : Northlanders #29, #20, #35-36, #42-50
The third is: #17, 21-28, 30-34, 37-39, 40

Oh, and for the two volumes "Sven le revenant", I have no idea where they come from. As much as I know, they are included in the first tome (the one that you already corrected!).

I am currently reading the Northlanders serie (by Brian Wood) in french (so, sorry for my english!). This serie has been published in a very different order in french than in its original language. Thus, when I wanted to add the first book to the books I have read, I couldn't find it on the site. So I tried to add it manually but then, I discovered that someone already tried to do so but they did not put the right autor (they put Brian MOORE) or publisher (it's Urban Comics) or the full title (in french, it's "Northlanders Tome 1. Le livre anglo-saxon"). I kind of wanted to force my version though but, well, I think I lost some informations (like the cover and the original title and stuff) in the process...
So, I think my addition is not better than the first wrong one (altought I do have the right autor), and I would like to ask someone to erase mine
