Your thoughts on how Jarvis will react to Sebastian and Hero's planned marriage? Do you think he'll figure out she's with child?

Just because Hero said she would stay for her mother's sake and perhaps start that family her father was taunting her about doesn't seal it for me. I'm that worried about Kat and wondering how true Sebastian would stay to vows made for "hypothetical" reasons, for as many times as Hero has lied to him.

Charlene, I get the impression that you don't think very highly of Hero and Sebastian :0)

Neither one of them is the type of person to make a vow or a promise and not keep it. Hero loves her mother and has a deep seated need to protect her from her father, which also goes a long way to explain her trust issues with Sebastian and her desire to remain single and not enter into a loveless marriage.

We, the readers, know that Sebastian is honorable and trustworthy, but from her limited experience with him, she cannot be certain (he did abduct her after all!)

I'm also not sure that I would characterize her obfuscation with Sebastian about the baby as lying. She knows he suspects the truth and when confronted outright does not lie to him.

As for Sebastian, he's an honorable man and I cannot see him sneaking around behind Hero's back with Kat even if his marriage to Hero would be one of convenience.

I can't imagine Sebastian breaking his vows with Hero. That much seems clear to me about this man.

Very true, and Sebastian himself realizes this:

"They had come together, essentially, as strangers; she knew little of him beyond the fact that he was her father's enemy. She had no reason to trust him and every reason not to, and there was nothing he could think of to say that would change that."

Any marriage news will surely shock Jarvis. lol

He'll think Sebastian did it as a jab against him. I think he will be angry even think about having Sebastian killed. But once the child is born (especially if it is a boy) he will be more accepting.

Jarvis is going to hate the union. I can't see him every accepting Sebastian into the family. That is a shame if they never bury the hatchet. I think that Sebastian could be an asset for Jarvis, not as a spy or henchman, but as an ambassador. People like Sebastian.
