sorry guys, REALLY busy week - but I"m slowly working my way on this one

So far I am enjoying this more than book 1. I'm guessing it's partly because I was so confused for so long in the first book.

Jaime (view spoiler)[is kind of stuck with Grace's attitude being such that she's just really angry that he didn't tell her what he knew. I understand he was trying to "protect" her but I'm not so sure he was right...hard to say. (hide spoiler)]

Spence (view spoiler)[is a good guy...I think. I don't know much about him yet, but so far I like him. (hide spoiler)]

Grace (view spoiler)[will have to truly forgive herself at some point or she'll die a slow death or literally go crazy. What an awful predicament to be in, but I'm wondering if she's been told the truth yet. Did she really kill her mom? (hide spoiler)]

The ending(view spoiler)[Okay overall I was surprised by the twist. I will admit to wondering in the first book if the baby got out that night or not. Then during this book I thought about the same thing and was waiting on them to reveal if my thought was right on that. I wonder what is going to happen in the next book. Will they tell people and Grace try to get on the thrown ? I don't feel like that's her style. The unanswered question though is who is trying to kill her family?How do they know about the secret if the society just recently figured it out after all these years? Is it the (current) royal family?hmmm, I just don't know. Another question is why aren't they going after the grandfather?? He is Grace's mom's dad, right? So wouldn't he be the person who would be in charge if they claimed their heritage? Or am I confused..... (hide spoiler)]

Alexi (view spoiler)[I wonder what is going to happen here as well. Also, if he wasn't involved in Spence's death why lie to Grace about seeing him off the island? That part I'm still confused about. How long did it take for the killer to realize that they killed the wrong person? Why not attack Jamie when he is running in the morning all the time? (hide spoiler)]
The Society (view spoiler)[I knew there had to be a bigger part to this than what it was most of the book! It's where the book started yet was mentioned a lot but wasn't something Grace was concentrating on. (hide spoiler)]

Jamie(view spoiler)[I hope he turns out okay. I'm glad Gracie has a big brother that we were finally able to meet. It was nice to have a new important character in the book. There was one part right before Jamie was stabbed that I thought Grace might thing Jamie killed spencer I'm not sure why though... (hide spoiler)]




Overall I was really entertained by this book. It's a good series and an easy read overall. I don't know if this series will become super popular but I thought it was great! Can't wait for the next one.

Alexi : I agree(view spoiler)[ I think I was the most frustrated by this storyline. He did so much lying and evading and I didn't see any point to it. He wasn't protecting her. it only made him sound more guilty. If he'd just come clean, been honest and up front, they could have worked together from the very beginning (hide spoiler)]

Jamie: I really(view spoiler)[ liked Jamie too! I'm so so glad he doesn't blame her for their mother's death. It could have been easy for him to blame her and be mad but instead he was such a great brother!! I'm so sad for what he went through - the pain of bringing a friend there and then having him die. But his friend acted WAY weird around Grace. I thought the kiss was oddly aggressive and out of place (hide spoiler)]

I liked this book and thought it was fun and cute.
