Big blue eyes looked up at Ashton, a desperate look in them. He wanted her and he was willing to be patient. Why did that make it all the scarier? Dakota broke her stare, staring at nothing in particular as she realized why,
Because it would hurt all the more if she did something wrong.
Dakota didn't understand why she failed to have any confidence in herself in situations such as these. Perhaps it was because she never had one? She wasn't sure. Dakota looked back up at Ashton and before she knew it she placed a delicate hand on his cheek, her eyes searching his for any sign of a lie. Anything that could make it easier to run away. She found nothing. He was a genuinely kind and compassionate person. What had she done to deserve this? Wanting to cry at his words she settled for going on her tippy toes and placing a soft kiss on his cheek, lingering for a few seconds. Pulling back she looked at him with sad eyes, "I really do hope you mean that." With that she pulled back and graceful walked over to the door and peaked her head out. When the cost was clear she looked back at Ashton, "I'll be seeing you." She said softly and only for him to hear. Offering one last small smile she then slipped through the door and into the empty halls and to her room.

Jasper had fallen asleep to the image of Braelynns fall brown eyes and when he woke up that was the first thing thag cossed his mind. Strange. After getting ready for the day Jasper went down to his fathers study, a bit of a jump in his step. It wasn't a hard decision really and perhaps it was too fast but Jasper had already made up his mind and he certainly didn't want to drag it our any longer. Opening the door without knocking Jasper strolled in, hands behind his back and determined expression on his face. The King looked up, a brow arched expectantly.
"Father." Jasper stated, a smile forming.
The King sighed, taking off his glasses, "Son." He said back a little sarcastically.
Shaking that off Jasper smiled and spoke, "I wish to eliminate eighteen of the Selected tonight."
