It definitely seems like there is more to it than gold. I'm sure we've not seen the last of him.
But Thoros bringing back Beric from the dead? My memory is hazy and I can't remember if that was mentioned before.

I felt the same as you. If it was mentioned then I think it flew over both of our heads.
thoughts while reading:Is Lem Lemincloak just in denial about the fact that Beric died? That it wasn't just an injury?
Brianna, I think so, yes.I think Arya and Robb are the ones who miss Ned the most. They had such an incredible father-daughter relationship, it hurts me seeing how much she wants him back. The talk she had with Thoros about resurrecting Ned was extremely touching.
