message 2: by Brittany (new)

Brittany (storyofmyreadinglife) | 43 comments I was most looking forward to A Court of Mist and Fury. :D :D :D

So hey, done a bit of reading so far this month. Here are the four I've read(two being re-reads): It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover Forever with You (Wait for You #5) by Jennifer L. Armentrout A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #1) by Sarah J. Maas A Court of Mist and Fury (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #2) by Sarah J. Maas

Right now I am devouring and loving The Rose & the Dagger (The Wrath & the Dawn, #2) by Renee Ahdieh

Racheal (otherworldlyreader) | 143 comments So far this month I've read Breathless by Cole Gibsen and then I just re-read The Scarecrow King by Jill Myles .

Brittany (storyofmyreadinglife) | 43 comments I've finished The Rose & the Dagger (The Wrath & the Dawn, #2) by Renee Ahdieh and it was phenomenal. I had a few minor issues, but really I love this duology so much that they're easily overlooked.
I also read For the One (Gaming The System, #5) by Brenna Aubrey . Which was good but disappointing because I didn't particularly like the main girl most of the time.

Right now I'm reading The Hidden Oracle (The Trials of Apollo, #1) by Rick Riordan and Charged (Saints of Denver, #2) by Jay Crownover . Two of my most favourite authors, YAY!

Racheal (otherworldlyreader) | 143 comments Getting ready to start The Shadow Queen (Ravenspire, #1) by C.J. Redwine

message 8: by Karin (last edited May 12, 2016 05:44PM) (new)

Karin The only y/a right now (because I'm caught up in too many group reads at the moment) is Skin and Other Stories Skin and Other Stories

message 9: by Racheal (new)

Racheal (otherworldlyreader) | 143 comments Finished The Shadow Queen (Ravenspire, #1) by C.J. Redwine and it was pretty good. It was a retelling of Snow White and had a 'Snow White and the Huntsman' kinda feel to it.

Now I'm reading Rebel of the Sands (Rebel of the Sands, #1) by Alwyn Hamilton

Linda (lindajoy8) | 72 comments Just finished these 2 great books Illuminae The Alex Crow
Illuminae blew me away (if you listen to audio, I highly recommend having the book to look at as well - there are things in both that you wouldn't want to miss). Alex Crow is dark and weird and really well done.

Now I'm reading The Smell of Other People's Houses

message 11: by Linda (new)

Linda (lindajoy8) | 72 comments The Smell of Other People's Houses by Bonnie-Sue Hitchcock is soooo good! Loved it!!

Now planning on starting The Raven King (The Raven Cycle, #4) by Maggie Stiefvater - yay!!!!

message 12: by Racheal (new)

Racheal (otherworldlyreader) | 143 comments I'm still reading Rebel of the Sands (Rebel of the Sands, #1) by Alwyn Hamilton and it's good but very slow going.

I also started reading Undecided by Julianna Keyes . I'm halfway through it and I'm liking it so far.

I met her a few years back! She's super nice!

message 16: by Linda (new)

Linda (lindajoy8) | 72 comments So excited to be starting The Raven King. I've read the re-caps on recaptains.co.uk - and also re-read most of the 3rd book. There is so much happening in these books that I wanted to make sure I was up to date before I started the new one. Yay!

Finished listening to The Sin Eater's Daughter and loved it! :)

I just finished Gemina and it is even more insane and intense than Illuminae. Mind=blown.

Brittany (storyofmyreadinglife) | 43 comments Clearly I've been slacking here. So I'm not going to update all the books I've read(check out my page count if it so interests you).

I just finished Gemina (The Illuminae Files, #2) by Amie Kaufman and yea. My jaw is still on the floor.
I have billion reviews to write that I've been putting off. Seems like an excellent time to get on those well I digest Gemina.
Once that's all done I'll probably pick up a contemp. Possibly All the Feels by Danika Stone .

I'm still working on Rebel of the Sands (Rebel of the Sands, #1) by Alwyn Hamilton (which is good but hard for me to get into) and The Wrath & the Dawn (The Wrath & the Dawn, #1) by Renee Ahdieh (which is really really good so far!).
