Rachel | 128 comments Thanks... I just saw that he plays Alec in the shadow hunters show... I just started these books and don't even watch that show, but now i doubt he'll be able to be cast for scheduling conflicts probably.

message 402: by Beela (new)

Beela He's good in the show, I've watch a few episodes. The problem for me (picking out actor) is that I want their portrayal of the characters to be perfect and not all actors can do that.

message 403: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 128 comments absolutely.... sometimes it can really ruin it for you

message 404: by Deborah (new)

Deborah Connal | 2 comments I don't know about anybody else but I was so sad about Tamlin's decisions in this book. I loved him in the first book. That being said I adore her and Rhysand together. All I want is to see them all happy, though I think sneaking around scenes could be fun. And I really want to see Azriel and Mor. Seeing Nessa (especially now that she's fey) with Cassian would be fun too. I hope the book is huuuggee!

message 405: by Sasha (new)

Sasha | 9 comments Same!! Tamlin was the best - right until Rhys came in and Tam made all of those awful choices :( But super excited to see if there's more of Mor and Azriel. They're my favorite couple!!!

message 406: by Tristen (new)

Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) Ugh I want a ton of multiple PoVs and NESSIAN scenes because that extra story in the Target edition was STEAMY (≧∇≦)

message 407: by Zeynep (new)

Zeynep Hurcan | 8 comments Noris wrote: "Nesta n.n

Changing topic... I have a feeling that the little boy that Feyre saw in the (whatever creature that was in the prision) was not a child Rhysand... but perhaps a hint of their future son."

I also had the same thought after finishing the book

message 408: by Noris (new)

Noris | 574 comments Somebody please, has mercy of me and post or tell me where can I read the Nessian scene???? Tell me please that she throws him her shoe or something!

message 409: by Beela (new)

Beela SOME REPOST IT FOR THIS POOR SOUL!!! LENA?

message 410: by Tristen (new)

Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) Just look up "ACOMAF target edition" on Google and click the first link, it's a Tumblr page....

Zeynep Hurcan | 8 comments Here is a new interview of SJM which I think reveals a lot about what we can expect for book 3.

Laura | 71 comments Reading that interview just makes me want book 3 even more!!!!

message 414: by Rachel (last edited Jun 28, 2016 07:47AM) (new)

Rachel | 128 comments OMG that interview... how could I possibly be even more excited?? I am though! It seems to me like there's a a lot of people who need to grow; Tamlin, Lucien, Elain & Nesta.... but I was really hoping for more backstory with The Inner Circle peeps... This book must be super long... like i'm hoping for 700-800 pages!

message 415: by Noris (new)

Noris | 574 comments I hope the same. Though it wouldn´t matter, I will devour it anyway!

message 416: by Jessica (new)

Jessica LaMotte (jesz009) I would LOVE another long book! ACOMAF didn't seem long enough! But no matter how long it is, I will love it just the same. Was this series built to be a trilogy?

message 417: by Beela (new)

Beela Yes, it supposed to be a trilogy

message 418: by Grace Meredith (new)

Grace Meredith (koreantrash) I can't wait to read more from Rhys's point of view. He's such an interesting character.

message 419: by Deborah (new)

Deborah Connal | 2 comments just read the short story of nesta and cassian. can we just have a book about them. They are amazing together!!

message 420: by Tweebs ♡ (new)

Tweebs ♡ Okayyyyy, what is this Nesta and Cassian short story I'm hearing about ??? My heart is about to explode so can someone be a darling and help a sister out by sending the link on how to get this??? Or you can tell me how you got it if that's more easier :)
THANKK YOUUU!!

message 421: by Tristen (new)

Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) It's in the ACOMAF post reading discussions

imashamedofmyoldreviews (pleasedontjudgeme_ichanged) I actually feel like Tamlin has very serious insecurity issues. Nobody just wakes up one day and makes bad decisions without any reason, you know. He probably thinks of Rhys as competition, that he will steal away Feyre like he took away his family. And Rhys is the most powerful of High Lords while Tamlin is the kid playing ruler in the perspective of others, not a threat at all. Spring court, so cheery and not harmful at all. Then he gets Feyre and new respect, so he decides to preserve that, get no harm done, to show her off and keep reminding people of his power that is not his. So he decided to marry, and so fast. The love faded.

I agree with this. And I feel like his time Under the Mountain only made him feel more powerless and more insecure, so when Rhys arrived to take Feyre, and when she left, that was the last straw.

message 424: by Rebekah (new)

Rebekah (jabberwockyslayer) | 171 comments On a side note, does anyone else think we might see Miriam and Drakon (I probably just butchered those spellings) in ACOTAR #3? The human that was turned immortal before Feyre? I feel like they're really important players in the endgame.

message 425: by Tristen (new)

Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) We MUST see them in book 3 because why else would SJM mention them?

imashamedofmyoldreviews (pleasedontjudgeme_ichanged) Yep. I was thinking the same thing. I feel like there'll be lots of parallels between Velaris and the island Miryam and Drakon live on. Plus, it would really help Elain to live with her sisters if there is human and fae society existing. One more thing, the queens might have leaked this information or something.

message 427: by Hannah (new)

Hannah I am so happy there is a plot predictions thread going. I have so many theories!!

1) I think Nesta could be Illyrian
In ACOMAF Sarah described Elain with having pointed ears but she left out the description of Nesta's ears. It would be fitting if Nesta is Illyrian because she is much more harsh and brutal in nature compared to her other two sisters.

2) Miryam and Drakon could maybe be in book 3...
If they are I just have a feeling there could be issues between them. I can imagine Feyre asking them to help and Miryam and Drakon not wanting to because they live a peaceful life and could jeopardize it if they expose themselves.

3) Tamlin could help Feyre
I can't stand Tamlin...and I am not saying he deserves redemption but maybe in the end he will try to help Feyre and then he gets killed or something.

4) Tamlin will die and Elain will become High Lady of the Spring Court
Elain is described as being gentle and passionate about gardening. Now that she is fae I can see her having cool plant powers or something and it would be awesome if she was High Lady of the Spring Court

5) Amren is a dragon or something similar to a dragon

6) Nesta kills the King of Hybern
I really hope this happens. When she pointed her finger at him before getting dunked in the cauldron I was thinking man this dude has no idea who he is messing with.

message 428: by Tristen (new)

Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) If Nesta were Illyrian, wouldn't she have wings?

message 429: by Beela (new)

Beela Not to burst some bubbles,
But one, there is only a 30% percent chance of Nesta being anything more than an overprotective sister. I don't think she is Illyrian.
And why would Elain become the next High Lady of Spring Court? One, she's mated to Lucien, who belongs to the Autumn Court.
And Two, Rhys said there are hardly ever High Ladies. So if Tamlin dies, why would someone he doesn't even know become the heir to his throne?
I do hope that Amren is a dragon!! That would be so cool.
And I'm not sure who will kill the king. I don't think it will be one person though, it will be a group effort.

message 430: by Tristen (last edited Jul 09, 2016 02:14PM) (new)

Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) ^^^I agree. I think the "Nesta-is-Illryrian" theory is kind of far-fetched.

But I don't know what happens when a High Lord dies and he has no heir. Does the most powerful High Fae in the area take over? Would Lucien be the next High Lord of the Spring Court? If so, then I guess Elain would be his (High) Lady . . .

I honestly don't know.

message 431: by Beela (new)

Beela Yeah, good point. IF Lucien makes her his High Lady. Usually wives are just, I think they called them consorts???? If that is a word? *shrugs*
What does happen if the King up and dies?Would Ianthe take over?!

message 432: by Tristen (new)

Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) OH HECK NO IANTHE DOESN'T GET A N Y T H I N G

SHE BETTER DIE BECAUSE THERE IS OBVIOUSLY NO REDEEMING HER

message 433: by Beela (new)

Beela XD!!!!!
Ianthe needs to just leave. Ahem, THE WALL

message 434: by Rebekah (new)

Rebekah (jabberwockyslayer) | 171 comments I highly doubt Lucien's brothers would allow him to get so far as a High Lord of another court. Elain doesn't really come across as High Lady material. That's actually more up Nesta's alley in my opinion

I can see Myriam and Drakon joining forces with Rhys and Feyre, and then in the end creating their own little society of rulers.

I really want to know what exactly Amren is. I don't think it's too far fetched to say she's some kind of dragon or mythical creature.

message 435: by Amoreena (new)

Amoreena | 5 comments Does anyone else out there think Feyre is already pregnant? They talked about it, but there wasn't time for her to take the tonic. Anyway, I hope she is not forced into a situation with Tamlin like Rhys was for 50 years!

message 436: by Tristen (new)

Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) Ooo I kind of hope she is pregnant because it would greatly add to the story. Like what if Tamlin thinks it's his baby, but it's really Rhys's.

But then at the same time, I don't want Feyre pregnant because she and Rhys agreed to wait until Feyre sort of figured out what it means to be Fae and wants Rhys to herself for a while.

message 437: by Tweebs ♡ (last edited Jul 09, 2016 07:37PM) (new)

Tweebs ♡ Tristen wrote: "It's in the ACOMAF post reading discussions"

Thanks!!!!

Also, I believe that if Feyre ends up pregnant it would kind of interfere with her plans of basically getting revenge in the Spring Court and Hybern. If Rhysand finds out about this, it's game overrrrrrr. He'll come for Feyre. 100% sure. Then you have Tamlin on the other hand. If he thinks it's his child then he'll probably lock her up again but she has powers now so I have no clue how it would play out. I hope she doesn't end up pregnant because it would complicate things and it'd be wayyyyyy better if she had one in the future because her main goal is to get even with those who wronged her and being pregnant would be too much to handle among all that chaos. Plus, she just recovered and being pregnant and making sure nothing happens to the baby will be hard in the situation she's in. I feel like Sarah J. Maas won't go through with it but watch me be wrong and this chick actually ends up being pregnant lol.

message 438: by Tristen (new)

Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) ^^^Lol

message 439: by Beela (new)

Beela Just because it doesn't say that Feyre took the tonic, that doesn't have to mean she's preggers. There was plenty of time for her to start taking it and besides, that would be kind of boring to include anyway.
"And from the tonic she drank, and then she breathed." Like, how would you include that?

message 440: by Tristen (new)

Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) true.

message 441: by Rebekah (new)

Rebekah (jabberwockyslayer) | 171 comments I definitely think there could be a "pregnancy scare." Like, "Oh crap, I feel terrible, wait...when did I last take that tonic?" kind of thing. I've seen that happen before. It does enough to light a fire under the plot, but SJM might not do that because Rhys would flip out if he thought for even a moment she was pregnant.

imashamedofmyoldreviews (pleasedontjudgeme_ichanged) I just thought of it and maybe it would be awesome:
What if Tamlin's mate comes into picture? Then he realizes what he was doing and makes amends with Feyre and then they gang up on King of Hybern?

message 443: by Tweebs ♡ (new)

Tweebs ♡ Thinking of Tamlin's mate makes me feel bad for whoever she is. If she can change him into a reasonable person and make him see that he was a jerk then win win. I wonder who it is? A new person or someone we know. AND DONT SAY IANTHE !! That's a big no no. I refuse her to be apart of the 3rd book.

message 444: by Rebekah (new)

Rebekah (jabberwockyslayer) | 171 comments Tamlin's mate...that's a scary thought. He knows Feyre isn't his mate, but clearly he's willing to settle. That would be interesting if his mate ever showed up. Would kind of ruin Feyre's spying plans though.

message 445: by Tristen (new)

Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) What happens when someone is in love (with someone who is not their mate), and then their mate shows up? Do they just dump the person they have feelings in order to get with their mate?

message 446: by Tweebs ♡ (new)

Tweebs ♡ I just hope Tamlin's mate puts him in his place.

message 447: by Beela (new)

Beela I thought mates were a sacred thing. And we already have two mating matches already. Besides, does Tamlin REALLY deserve a mate? I mean, I hope he's going to die anyway.

message 448: by Tweebs ♡ (new)

Tweebs ♡ If Tamlin gets a mate in the 3rd book then it would throw things off. If I was his mate ( I'd rather get eaten by those creatures in the Spring Court) I would be wondering why Feyre is still there? Her whole plan is to fool Tamlin into thinking she was taken by Rhysand and that she only loves Tamlin. So, if his mate comes along then it'll just make things harder for her.

message 449: by Beela (new)

Beela Tristen-
In the Throne of Glass series, Rowan cheated on his mate with another woman, so I think that mates can date other people. Or at least be with others

message 450: by Beela (new)

Beela I don't think he'll have it a mate. It doesn't make sense and you're right, it would be complicated
