Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) Lol my explanation was unnecessarily long...

message 302: by Lena (new)

Lena (booksruletheworld) | 56 comments You guys are fantastic! ;D

message 303: by Beela (new)

Beela No it was fine!!! I couldn't resist summarizing it though because it is kinda of weird/funny when you get to the gist of it

message 304: by Tristen (new)

Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) In the next book I want there to be a whole part about Cassian training Nesta to be a badass fighter and then they fall in love and become mates during the process....if they aren't already mates

message 305: by Tristen (new)

Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) Also I hope Cassian's wings are healed

message 306: by Natalia (new)

Natalia (ravenandthehawk) | 387 comments @Tristen, the thank you so much.

message 307: by Tristen (new)

Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) no prob

message 308: by Tristen (new)

Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) Is anyone else curious about Nuala and Cerridwen? They're half wraith-half Fae....LIKE HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?!

message 309: by Alexis (new)

Alexis (TigeroftheTowerGuard) | 356 comments Loved Amren's quote on that. XD

message 310: by Jess (new)

Jess | 51 comments Who is Nula and Cerridwen again

message 311: by Alexis (new)

Alexis (TigeroftheTowerGuard) | 356 comments Feyre's handmaidens at the Night Court.

message 312: by Naomi (new)

Naomi (_naomijennings) | 5 comments But cassian is Illyrian can he have a mate?

message 313: by Tristen (last edited Jun 08, 2016 09:53PM) (new)

Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) Yes Cassian can have a mate. Rhys's mom was Illyrian and she was mated with his father...

message 314: by Nicola (new)

Nicola (nicolamsmith) I agree that there will be a death in the last book. I have a feeling it will be either Cas or Rhys, and Nesta or Feyre will use either the Book or the Cauldron to bring him back

message 315: by Beela (new)

Beela I don't think it will be anyone from the Night Court

message 316: by Tristen (last edited Jun 10, 2016 11:16AM) (new)

Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) IT BETTER NOT BE ANYONE FROM THE NIGHT COURT OR FEYRE'S SISTERS

message 317: by Natalia (new)

Natalia (ravenandthehawk) | 387 comments What about Tamlin (hope I spelled that right)? Any thinks he is going to die?
Who else feels he is/should die?

message 318: by Beela (new)

Beela He needs to die. I don't really care how, but I feel like Maas will make it a "death for redemption" thing

message 319: by Jordan (new)

Jordan | 65 comments I could see that happening

message 320: by Nicola (new)

Nicola (nicolamsmith) I hope he's not fully redeemed. He's such a flawed character and I'm still so mad at him for the betrayal in the last book....I just want Feyre to battle him, to beat him soundly and to just walk away.

message 321: by Megan (new)

Megan Cheang | 142 comments I'm starting to think Tamlin is starting to lose his sense of reality, or he just happens to be really arrogant to see the truth.

message 322: by Beela (new)

Beela Both and also I think Tamlin doesn't want to do more than he has too. After everything was patched up in the first book, he was like 'Well, no need to do anymore, everything is awesome!'.

message 323: by Noris (new)

Noris | 574 comments Hey everybody, I was in Pinterest when an image (an screenshot to be more specific) of a (don´t know if this one is real, so let´s call it "supposed") Sarah´s fb account appeared and in one of the comments said that "Actually, don´t know if somebody has realize about it but the calanmai scene in ACOTAR book, didn´t actually happen in ACOTAR but later, that´s a memory of Feyre and Rhys"
And then I was screaming like "The hell what?!!!!!" and a girl said that perhpas the maiden that Tamlin used that night (sorry, but yeah... he used a girl) could be Ianthe and a major plot is there.

So, do you know something about it???

message 324: by Tristen (last edited Jun 13, 2016 03:45PM) (new)

Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) WTF! WHAT YOU ARE SAYING DOESN'T MAKE SENSE.

sorry I'm trying not to be rude...

Calanmai happened once in ACOTAR and once in ACOMAF. The Calanmai in ACOTAR is when Rhys and Feyre first met. Feyre was in trouble, and Rhys came to save her from some lesser fairies trying to take advantage of her, but she had no idea who Rhys was. In ACOMAF, Calanmai took place while Rhys and Feyre were in that cabin up in the mountains and she accepted the mating bond. SJM has confirmed this. We don't know who participated in the Great Rite with Tamlin on either events, but we should find out in the next book. On a Twitter Q&A, SJM said that there were "consequences" from the second Calanmai and I don't really know what that means.

If the scene in ACOTAR between Feyre and Rhys on Calanmai was "just a memory" and actually happened later, then that doesn't make any sense. Feyre was still human, didn't know who Rhys was, and was utterly defenseless against the lesser fairies who were trying to use her. If that actually happened later when Feyre became an immortal being, then wouldn't she have used her powers or known who Rhysand is?

And was it Sarah's comment or somebody else's?

This post just f*cked me up and I'm so confused rn....*sighs*

message 325: by Noris (new)

Noris | 574 comments Don´t worry, I felt the same way. I almost could hear my brain trying to connect that post with the events in the book. Like you, I never found a sense for this!
I saw the image on Pinterest, it was a screenshot of a supposed coment from Sarah. Of a suposed Sarah´s account. It surprised me, I mean I follow her un tumblr and pinterest, I thought that perhaps all those things were a lie. (If that´s the case who can do something so nasty? It´s disgusting the people that pretends to be someone they´re not, even more if who they´re lying to be are public person... or my fav author Sarah)

message 326: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 36 comments Do you think Tamlin got with the high priestess in A court of Mist and Fury on that night? I don't even remember how to spell her name....

message 327: by Diane (new)

Diane (mystifiedswift) Ianth? I bet he did.

message 328: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 36 comments Sounds right to me. I got to say the second book really made me hate Tamlin.

message 329: by Jessica (new)

Jessica LaMotte (jesz009) I hated Tamlin from the first words he spoke to her in the second book.. I couldn't stand the way he treated her.

message 330: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 36 comments I know!! He was so blind and oblivious to her it made me sick.

message 331: by Beela (new)

Beela Ianthe is how you spell it

message 332: by Beela (new)

Beela And Tamlin is a weasel. Tamlin's a "beast" and most people assume he's a lion or bear but no. He's a weasel.

message 333: by Tristen (new)

Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) HAHAHAHAHAHA

message 334: by Beela (new)

Beela I'm here all day folks XD

message 335: by Ashleigh (new)

Ashleigh (booksbyash) | 32 comments I actually couldn't stand Tamlin in book 2! I liked him in ACOTAR and wasn't a huge fan of rhys but how the tables have turned!

message 336: by Tristen (new)

Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) I can't imagine anyone still liking Tamlin after reading ACOMAF

message 337: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 14 comments So SJM said there would be consequences was it for Tamlin there would be consequences? I assume that Ianthe will be his mate (possible consequences???) any suggestions as to what those consequences will be???

message 338: by Tristen (new)

Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) I can only assume that there would be consequences if Tamlin DIDN'T participate in the Great Rite. Like say that he didn't have sex with the Maiden, whoever that may be....Then the consequence would be that the crops wouldn't grow. But assuming that he did take part in the Great Rite, then I have NO IDEA what the consequence would be.

message 339: by Dawn (new)

Dawn | 182 comments Ianthe (presuming she's who was chosen) pregnant with his child, perhaps?

message 340: by Tristen (new)

Tristen (bo0kenthusiast) But children are rare

message 341: by Dawn (new)

Dawn | 182 comments Yep they are. There's always the smallest chance Ianthe or one or more of her ambitious sister Priestesses performing some sort of fertility rite. She also could have manipulated Hybern into doing something with the Cauldron to increase her chances. Admittedly, I'm reaching pretty far here. The chance of this happening is slim, at best.

message 342: by Beela (new)

Beela I think we are giving Ianthe to much credit, I don't think the King of Hybren would make any deal with her.

message 343: by Beela (new)

Beela Hybern**

message 344: by Ashleigh (new)

Ashleigh (booksbyash) | 32 comments I feel like the King would have because didn't he mention her when they were talking about the deal with Tamlin in the throne room?

message 345: by Beela (new)

Beela Did he? I'll have to reread that part then.

message 346: by Noris (new)

Noris | 574 comments I don´t think Ianthe is pregnant... but I do think that Feyre will be pregnant veeeeery veeeery soon. In that case, just imagine the power of Feyre and Rhys´s offspring.

message 347: by Beela (new)

Beela I think she'll get pregnant in epilogue.
And right? She'll give birth and there will just be a huge explosion BOOM!!!! TAKE THAT MOTHER NUGGETS

message 348: by Noris (new)

Noris | 574 comments lol lol lol

message 349: by Giada (new)

Giada I think Tam performed the great rite. He was his duty and in his mind he's not cheating on Feyre doing his duty. And Ianthe pregnant is a valid theory...

message 350: by Ashleigh (new)

Ashleigh (booksbyash) | 32 comments I think that Tamlin will die and I think that Ianthe will be pregnant with his child, but she will do something shady with it, (maybe give it to the King or something) I swear that they are working together somehow. I feel like tam will "die for redemption" to save someone and also that Lucien will join the night court (is that a thing? can they just change courts?)
