*i'm in heaven*

This may be too obvious for SJM to kill off Rhys but we know our hearts will be ripped out!
So far it's clear it won't be Cassian, Elain or Nesta from what Sarah has said...but everyone else is fair game.
I haven't read much on predictions for Azriel or Mor. Any thoughts?

I'm worried about someone dying, I thought I saw an interview with Sarah where she hunted around at it.

Now that's a somber thought :(
I am HOPING EVERYONE SURVIVES!!!

Wait what? Cassian, Nesta and Elain are safe?
I really really really hope that your predictions are not right and that Rhys survives.

As do I! If Rhys dies I'll be devastated! I think I'll be able to handle just about anyone else getting the ax but not Rhysand! Okay...or Feyre.
I read an interview with Sarah where she speaks of the following books after "ACOWAR". She says Nesta still has a story and a lot of discovery ahead of her as does Elain and she mentioned Cassian too so she's hinted IMO that these 3 will survive book 3.

IF
anyone is going to die, they're already dead in the book since it will be off to print shortly. We're only counting down the days for us fans to howl, mourn and bury whoever it is :(
Now tha..."
AGREE! LOL. I don't think I can read any more of the series or any other books if Rhys or Feyre die, though.

Sarah also likes to place hints in her book, which you would know if u have read throne of glass. In ACOMAF, Sarah has a quote that Rhys says to Feyre that (along the lines of) "Cassians armies will fail to protect, Azriel will die, and Mor will go into hiding from loosing Az. Amrens true form will be revealed, and all hell will break loose." So I feel like this is something Sarah is more likely to do, and although it will be so heartbreaking if it happens, I wouldn't be surprised if she actually did this. I just don't feel like Rhys or Feyre are going to die cos their roles are too strong. Plus there is another book so if she was going to do that it would be in the last book. Plus Feyre has already died so that probs won't be repeated.
Anyway that's just my opinion I'm so excited to see where Sarah actually goes with ACOWAR.

Nonetheless I will definitively continue to read whatever SJM writes.

It really depends on where you're ordering the hardcover from. When I pre-ordered Empire of Storms from B&N, I didn't get until a couple days after the release. I'm not really sure about other stores though. If you get it on Kindle, I'm pretty sure it's a guaranteed same-day release and read. I did get EoS the same day though because I needed both exclusive versions, so I went to Target lol.

I hadn't found Elain very interesting either until her stock went up with Lucien. That to me is worth enough to save her head from the chopping block.
I don't know if Sarah would kill off Azriel. He is such an important part of the Night Court and if Rhysand dies, Feyre is going to really need his skills.
I am just praying that no one from the inner circle dies!!

I think if either of them dies the entire fandom will be in mourning for a very, very, very long time.
But... even if Sarah crushes my heart, I will always be a fan and will nonetheless follow her into her next amazing adventure with tears in my eyes and boxes of Kleenex in my hands.

I do pray that you, my fellow ACOTARIAN are right.

lol so do I.

"My goal was bigger than revenge. My purpose greater than personal retribution."
I'm so ready for this book

I am sooooo excited too!!! That quote gave me chills!!!

I wouldn't worry too much. If we really think about Feyre, she's always been one to put the bigger picture before her own personal needs/safety/happiness. I mean, both the fairy world and the human world are in peril and her aim is to save them both but I don't think Ianthe and Tamlin will go unscathed. They will suffer the consequences of their actions just like Amarantha.

I was going through pinterest and I saw this thing about the princess of carrion. It's a small part from a page of ACOMAF:
Sweet ..."
I'm right there with you! I just made this connection. I can't help but wander what does carrion stand for? Is Feyre a Princess of a place? Or does this name/title have a meaning? What do you think?

I know right? But if you think about it, the cauldron is back in play and the King of Hybern has already used it to bring Jurian back. Maybe Feyre will use it to do the same?

My sister and I were just talking about this! Tamlin does have both of their wings and the King of Hybern brought Jurian back by using Jurian's eye. I don't know if it would work the same way but it would be interesting to see what happens if it is.

I know right? But if you think about it, the cauldron is back in play and the King of Hybern has already used it to bring Jurian..."
Interesting thought. I just hope that she only brings good people back

I think it will be written in at least two different point of views because I feel like it's important to see what's going on in the Spring Court and the Night Court. I've heard that Cassian and Nesta are both going to get a lot of page time so we might get Rhy's point of view in the Night Court with them or maybe Cassian's or Nesta's? If she does add more than one, I'm hoping she sticks with Feyre's and Rhy's perspectives but that's just me. Can't wait to find out!

I definitely agree. We would need two POV's so we can get the whole story. But I have a feeling we'll get multiple POV's not just Feysand. That would be sweeeeeet!!!
61 DAYS TO GO!!

Agreeed. Rhysand is such an enigma that I would rather stay out of his head. If the book does split between points of view, I hope it's either Nesta or Elain.
Nestsa has her rage at the fae, which will be interesting because she has become what she's hated. Elain will have to deal with being separated from everything she knows, a fiancé who despises what she is and would try to kill her, and Lucien, a mate who she doesn't know.
I think Elian's story could be very compelling. I loveLucien and would love to see some more character development with Elain. If I had to bet money I would say Nesta gets her own POV, especially since she got her own side story in the Target edition.
I am slightly afraid Elain will be killed off. She's so pure and innocent but there really isn't much else to her story so far. . It just seems like her death would be a major catalyst for Nesta and Feyre.

This may not happen since Sarah has said that Nesta, Cassian and Elain will have more story and growth in the next book(s) but who knows for sure! Sarah could just drop the bomb on all of us and Elain could go bye-bye!
Originally, ACOMAF was written in both Rhysand and Feyre's POV's but the decision was made to just focus on Feyre's instead to keep the story more cohesive. But I would definitely love to read Rhysand's POV!
