I'm wondering if he can only take on appearances of those who have lived or if he can somehow pull images of people from the future. Rhys's eyes are technically blue (just so dark they appear violet), so maybe it was supposed to be him as a child? Or more likely (and what I was thinking when I read it), maybe it was supposed to be their future son?

Yes i was thinking it could be both of those things too, if you go to the post reading page i wrote on that.
I would love a scene of Feyre at the Spring Court and Tamlin is being a D bag as usual and maybe goes to lay a hand on her or force her into something she doesnt want to do, and just as it is about to happen rhys shows up and slams tamlin into a wall with his power and then just looks over at feyre and smirks "taken care of, feyre darling." he purrs and disappears and when tamlin wakes up he doesnt know what happened and feyre just acts clueless XD
I honestly do have faith that there is more to Tamlins story than what we know already. I don't like him but I like to the think the hero of book one isn't just obsessive and evil and dictatorial in the end.There has to be some redemption!!!
But I also would not say to to a Rhys/Tamlin smack down because Rhys would own him! haha
I hope this book can be released early. I miss these characters so much

What if when Feyre and Tamlin first get back to the Spring Court Ianthe is there and she can see through all of feyre's tricks??? I don't like Ianthe, but no one has said anything about what she might do in the third book.

I pity Tamlin and want to see him realize his wrongs in the end, but I also want to see Rhys pummel the hell out of him. That would make me happy. :)

I'm probably just getting too excited and thinking about it too much though.
Well I hope for a lot of things in that book - I hope Feyre and Rhys don't stay apart for too long because I need them together
- I want to see more Nesta because she's so badass
-I want to learn more about the Court of Dreams every single character but Amren especially I'm so curious about her
-I want epic fight
-I also want to see Tamlin have so kind of redemption. I know he was awful with Feyre and I certainly don't want Feyre to love him but I think it would be so interesting to see a "bad guy" understand and learn from his mistakes I want him to understand that Feyre would never be with him again but he can still help her if he really love her I want him to realise that what he did was really bad and that it is his fault if Feyre left him so now he need to fix what he did. For me it would be a lot more original than just kill him off because he was a jerk if I must die at least I hope he would to save the spring court and the rest of the continent
I have a theory for Nesta's powers I thought I'd share*Spoilers for the series
So In ACOMAF, when Nesta becomes fae, it reads 'Nesta was different. Even before she took her first breath, I felt it. As if the Cauldron in making her ... had been forced to give more than it wanted.' What I think this means is Nesta received magic from the cauldron too. As to which powers she may have (Most likely one element like the High Lords) well there may be a hint in the start of ACOTAR in the form of Feyre's paintings 'the crackling flames if painted around Nesta's [drawer]'.
This theory is supported by Feyre's own drawer as she painted the 'Nighy sky', this was identified by Nesta as a link to the Night Court and Ryhsand. Two out of three drawers seems convincing and Elain even has flowers because she likes gardening. Could Nesta be gaining some fire powers?
Did anyone else think she was getting powers?
I saw this theory that she can get Tamlin to back off by pretending that it triggers her "horrid memories of the night Court"

Well, I don't know if Ianthe is pregnant, but Tamlin was with her for sure. I mean, SJM would've only made it a point that we know Calanmai already happened if there was some big plot segment it concerned to. Plus, when asked who her least favourite character is, she always calls out Ianthe and not Tamlin so I'm thinking Ianthe tricked him and he went along with it and while Feyre is at Spring, Ianthe has some kind if plan brewing to take over not only the Spring court but the entire world by teaming up with the King via Spring.
Something probably happened between Ianthe and Tamlin and I think Ianthe is way more evil than Tamlin so if she and the King become allies it could turn really badly but in a interesting way honestly

Omg, I'm so excited for the cover reveal you have no idea. I think Lucien will probably change sides, considering that Elaine is there. I hope Feyre will kick Tamlin's ass and feysand will live happily ever after hahaha. But in all honesty now. The thing that scares me the most is that none of the good characters have died yet. It's making me so anxious because I think Sarah will end up killing someone like Mor, Cassian or Az... I don't know, guess we'll just have to wait.

I read this tumblr post and I see him differently now too he need help to deal with what happened to him I acted very badly with Feyre we all agree on that and we all agree on the fact that we're all rooting for Feysand but like this post said nobody help him change or even recover after being Under the Mountain We really need this book because now our theories and our expectations are so wild
I really want to wait and see what special editions (if any) are coming out and where they will be sold. Because there were THREE for Empire of Storms and I got two of them.
Tamlin dying. I don't think that's gonna happen. Sarah said that "he had his own journey ahead", and death doesn't really sound like a "journey".Plus, I've been thinking about it, and just think about this: Tamlin did disgusting things, yes, but does he deserve to DIE? You really think Amren and King of Hybern might be from the same species? That blows my mind! But it's plausible, I guess. Didn't Amren comment on King of Hybern's age before they went to Hybern at the end?

I feel like Feyre, Nesta and Elain's Father will come in with a huge plot twist, his story was left open with no real purpose. I have this feeling that he could possibly come in on the enemy's side. I dunno, i just find him super weak and it wouldn't surprise me if he is used as bait by the king.
