I think that we will see Rhysand's true beast form, because its hinted enough to be coincidential. but why does he have a true beast form? illyrians only have wings, don't they? I think its a price for all that power, so that when he is sad or upset or angry and his temper slips, he'll shift.
Per SJMAAS Calanmai happened while Feyre was at the Night Court in ACOMAF, so we should be seeing the effects of that in book 3. Im kind of curious/nervous to see what happened!

It is actually good that it happened, Feyre is obviously going to understand that Calanmai happened while she was away, this way she can use this as an excuse to distance herself from Tamlin and to keep him- off of her- while she is at the spring court. Without raising his suspicions... Oh boy but when Tamlin DOES try to touch her.. OH BOYEE, Rhysand will feel it and he will flip the heck out. I REALLY hope Lucien leaves The Spring Court and goes to the Night Court... I love his character, It's not completely his fault that he's stuck with Twerpy Tamlin... His love was killed by his family, he had to leave. I feel like people forget about his awful past that led him to the spring court.. The Autumn Court (by order of Lucien's father) brutally murdered his lover right in front of Lucien. He couldn't stay
I just...this book can not come fast enough. And I love that A Court of Wings and Ruins abbreviates to acoWAR...which also seems to hint that something huuuuge is gonna go down in the series finale...and that scares me. This may sound crazy because ACOTAR is my air the characters in this world are actually some of my best friends and babies but...I kinda want at least one major-ish character to die..?

I get what your'e saying about it not being realistic or believable but what in this book IS? lol bottom line, I don't any of my babies to die.. but death can have Tamlin and Ianthe and The King if it wants... I will allow that.
As for who I THINK will die,
it depends on how evil SJM was feeling when she wrote the book.
Super evil: Rhys or Feyre
Evil: EVERYONE ELSE

But sadly, who I see possibly dying is Lucien.. Lucien gets tired of Tamlin and the kings crap and/or tries to stand up for/defends Feyre or Elain, and he might get killed n the process.. or, if SJM really wants to hurt me she will kill Feysand.
I was reading through the comments and something @Gillian said caught my attention.. Wondering if Rhys could mess with Tamlins mind from such a far distance... But remember, doesn't Feyre have that same power? Could she get away with messing with his mind and confusing him... Or blaming Rhys to make Tamlin think it was him?

Guys...I know this is highly unlikely, but what if Rhys was mind controlling Feyre all along. What if she was never made high lady or met Tarquin and it was all in her head...Tamlin is still a douche and the King of Hybern is still set on world domination but Rhys isn't who we thought he was and he turns out to be cruel mind controlling bastard. And Feyre ends up single and defeats them all. And she becomes the High Lady of Spring and Night. I doubt this would happen but it's just a theory that popped into my head. Don't get me wrong, I love Rhys but what if? I would kill someone.
Oh my gosh.. Don't say that. Hahaha. I like the theory though. I think that would shock the heck out of all of us.
Seriously. I think she would do that if she wanted to give us all heart attacks. I thought about that earlier though. Like he has so much power.. Who knows? But then I told myself no stop its the truth. Rhys is a good little baby .. Lol I would be so upset if she did that tho oml..

Rhys and Lucien knew right away once their mates became Fae. BUT I do think they had sex - I would even say I'm pretty sure they had sex before Under the Mountain (last Calanmai?). I think that is the chemistry Feyre sensed. And I agree with another comment that she could be pregnant. That would certainly make it difficult for Feyre since she won't be able to just get Ianthe kicked out. I also get this feeling she might be a daemati - that would make for some interesting mental battles anyway.
As for who I think will die: I don't think SJM would kill off the entire Inner Circle (unless she brought them back to life) - she just doesn't seem capable of such a depressing ending (Thank the Cauldron!). But I do think someone will/should die. This is WAR - if everyone comes out unscathed, it doesn't feel real. That's not to say that it has to be someone in the Inner Circle to die. IF one of them did die (and it's not Rhysand as I predicted), I think Mor, Azriel, and Amren are top bets, since they're unmated. Of them, I could see Azriel dying, and ending up one of those stars shooting by every year, waiting for Mor for eons. (Are you crying yet?) And I could see Mor then taking a more active role in running the Court of Nightmares as their queen (after her father finally dies), and changing it from the inside. That court and the Illyrians are the only ones left keeping the Night Court in the dark ages, unable to make cultural progress.

Thanks @Summer for such awesome compliments!! I am so glad you like my predictions. I am on a serious book hangover with this series. I can't seem to get into any other books, so I basically spend all my free time daydreaming what might happen in ACOWAR. :)

I really want Lucien to leave the Spring Court too. I think he will need a serious push before he leaves Tamlin, though. With Tamlin emotionally unstable as he is, I could definitely see Lucien physically fighting Tamlin when Tamlin refuses to take action to get Elain back, and I could see Tamlin seriously wounding or even trying to kill Lucien. Why wouldn't he, since he planned to kill Rhys who was his friend? Perhaps Feyre would choose to break her cover to rescue Lucien and take him to the Night Court then. I imagine Lucien ultimately going back to the Spring Court though - because Elain's love for flowers seems to foreshadow that - like Feyre's painting of stars foreshadowed the court she would end up in. I can't see Tamlin living through the book - maybe he will realize the wrong he has done and fight for good in the end, but I think he will die. So maybe Lucien and Elain will somehow take over the Spring Court. When there are no more high lords?
It would be awesome if tamlin died and Lucien became high lord of the spring court.
So everyone is saying that Feyre will use the events that happened at Calanmai to stay *cough* away from Tamlin *cough*. Although I think that she will say something about she is still recovering from being in the Night Court. I feel that if she does this then Tamlin won't push her into anything until she is ready. Either that or he will just be his usual Tamlin the Tool self and not care. But I just think this would make more sense and also benefit Feyre in her attempts to learn more about the Spring Court's association with Hybern because Tamlin will hopefully feel sorry for her. Also, this could hopefully lead to Feyre getting more space. This all depends on how Feyres return will effect Tamlin's actions. This probably won't happen but this is how i imagine this scene going down.

Omg NO!! lol... I almost cried when I read this! Rhys is one of my favorite characters I don't think I could handle him being that manipulative. But that would be such an interesting twist

It seems to me like everyone is always hating on Tamlin. Sure their relationship didn't work, but I don't think that he's all bad. He is broken too and needs time to heal. But like an hot head man, he is stubborn! I think that he will eventually come around and turn into one of the Night Court's ally. And he can't lose Lucien, that's his best friend. It would be like kicking him when he's already down. Ya Tamlin made some mistakes but I believe he's going to come around and Lucien is going to play a big part in that. Maybe he will even end up giving his life in order to save his friends.
That's true. But, he and Feyre could've healed together, but he chose to ignore her instead. He may be mentally ill because who the hell is going to ally with the King of Hybern
He treated her like a doll. ... And I feel like there relationship was okay at first, but they never had anything real in my mind. Tamlin and Feyre were together and that was all good and then they were together physically. But with Rhysand, they were friends first and he always had HER best interest in mind.. EVEN under the mountain. Rhysand understand her and he helped her heal. Then they because great friends and then they were together.
On a level, I do feel bad for Tamlin, but he was just too selfish. He locked her up like some kind of animal that he didn't want to share. She jet wanted to HELP. And be free. And he ignored her feelings and threw dresses at her. He imprisoned her for his own peace of mind.
I think that sjm. Wrote the book the way she did so that we would hate Tamlin.

Idk what will happen to Tamlin in the next book. I think you're right, he isn't evil villain enough to die. But the king of hybern is..
As much as I disliked Tam by the end of ACOMAF, I can't help but think there MUST be some redemption for him in ACOWAR. I mean, he locked Feyre in the mansion, and that was terrible, but then he goes and makes a deal with the king of Hybern so he can take her back against her will?? That just seems a step too far, I can't help but think there has to be something else going on besides him being a massive tool. Also if there is no redemption for Tamlin AT ALL then doesn't that kind of make a large part of ACOTAR seem a bit...pointless? (Thats not quite the word I'm looking for but it will do).
Also, does anyone else think that maybe Tamlins redemption in the end will come in the form of him sacrificing himself for Feyre?? Just a thought I've had.
And I also can't tell at the end of ACOMAF who's side Lucien is on, because he was definitely questioning Tam's actions.
True. I think he will get redemption.. Idk how but.. True about acotar. But I swear if we DO see that in the next book Rhysands family's wings have been hung up as trophies in tamlins room.. Ohh boy, sharpen your claws ladies.
Do you guys remember if Tamlin was ever really in love before Feyre?? Maybe he's grown too attatched because of that. Didnt the book say that he had had lovers but he had never felt THAT way about anyone?

Also, yes, I think Tamlin might redeem himself by sacrificing his life.
You know, that makes a good point.. If Tamlin just dies in combat for no reason other than to die (like I'm sure half of us are hoping) that does make the first book kind of pointless. As much as I hate to say it, because I really can't stand Tamlin, I'm sure he'll become a good guy again before the third book is over. Also, I am very curious as to what might happen with Lucien. I'm so confused where he's concerned that I'm not sure I have any guesses at to what might happen.
I just want to find out more about Feyre's mom and Rhys' past for some odd reason.
I honestly have no idea what's going to happen in ACOWAR. I just hope no one spoils it for as I have to wait a bit before receiving the book after it's published.
I agree, i wouldn't be surprised if there's some but reveal about Tamlin that makes you fall in love with him again. But I always liked Lucien better anyway so I really am more excited to see what he's going to end up doing.

Have you all read and finished to TOG series?? I am on QOS ... if the king wears a black ring, does that mean that he, also has a demon inside him? Controlling him??? Maybe he wasn't always bad, maybe he just was a man who found a wyrdkey, and somehow the valg came through, and one possessed him, and this whole time a demon has been controlling him, making him do all these awful things..... ooooooo WHAT

Lucien needs to be at the Spring Court, either with or without Tamlin as High Fae. But I think since Lucien mate is Feyre's sister, it's just going to be an alley in the end. I believe we are going to see Tamlin struggling with his decisions because of all the happened in Hybern. For a few seconds he kind of seemed shocked with what was going on. But all I really want to to get my hands on ACOWAR!!! I can't wait to read more about Rhys and the night court. How is everything going to fall apart and come together again?!?! What is Amren? Is she going to eventually get to go back home? I think that she is. The spell didn't work for Feyre becasue she wasn't strong enough or maybe old enough to have mastered control of something so powerful and it Amren that will eventually do it.
I like so think Lucian would help Freyre just because he wants to and realises that Tamlin is wrong, without being blackmailed

I think Lucien was caught between a rock and a hard place in ACOMAF. He knew they were "safe" and he had to follow what Tamlin said to set an example. He had no legitimate reason to go against what Tamlin said.. But now that everything is said and done and he has Elain to fight for, I think he might see things in a different light than what he did before.

I am so so excited for this book and to see which of these many predictions will be true, or if SJM will go down a completely different path to what we have all been thinking. Probably not but i wouldn't put it past her. Basically tho, I am just stuck in hoping that Tamlin will come face to face with Rhys and he will do something dramatic (Rhys i mean) and that would be awesome i reckon. Anyway just a hope. for the love of Feyre!!!!

I know that everything we predicted most likely won't happens, Sarah still surprises us with new characters, difficult choices, crazy plot twists and maybe the death of some character. I don't know what to expect I mean we all expected a love triangle in ACOMAF. but Nahh not even close. feyre didn't feel guilty or bad loving rhysand. there will be surprises and plot twists in acowar. and we have five months to prepare for them. lol.
