YEPP. Almost forgot about them.

This is a bit morbid, but I want Tamlin to suffer for how he treated Feyre because i get the feeling that he won't change very much except maybe be even more protective.

I think Drakon's wings do have feathers.I remember Sarah saying that somewhere. Also, can you believe how weird it would be if Feysand turns out to be a repeat of Drakon and Miriam when those two are still alive and actually with them. Like imagine your friend ending up having the same life story as you...SO STRANGE..XD
I also see a lot happening with Nesta considering how much SJM loves her. I think the other ACOTAR spinoff might actually be about her or Cassian..idk..just maybe..

No! I don't want Rhys to die. I just had a dream about this today and now I read this. Please Gods of Booklandia...I hope this isn't a sign..

I want Lucien to help Feyre without her having to threaten him. Lucien has screwed up so much, so if he works with Feyre only because of his mate... I'll be so pissed. I want Tamlin to suffer too, but not like the torture kind of suffering but more like... Feyre tells him she loves Rhys and he can't handle it so he goes crazy LOL IDK but I really want Tamlin to see the real Rhys. To stop thinking he's a monster and to realize he's not even half the man Rhys is. I cannot get over this book slump so don't feel the need to reply. I just love getting all these thoughts out LOL.
P.S I have a feeling the cover will be purple.

I had the same dream, but if Feysand is "1000% endgame" like SJM said, then neither can die because, well she's just said they'll be together forever, right? Tbh I'm okay if they both die, or if both live. No in-between.

LOL Imagine they're like doppelgängers or something like in T.V.D. That'd be so interesting omg. I'm always making these T.V.D connections because Damon and Rhys are so alike... Also, what do you think about the whole mate thing? I like the idea obviously, but everyone is getting one so IDK... it doesn't feel special anymore. They're supposed to be super rare. Everyone's predicting that Nesta and Cassian are mates because Feyre painted the night sky for herself (Rhys is her mate) Flowers for Elaine (Lucien is her mate and he's a part of the Spring Court) and she painted fire for Nesta, so who could that be? Cassian? That's what most say because of the short story, but IDK... It'd just be too predictable if they were mates, so I think we are somehow overlooking someone or smth.

Could be because SJM said we'll now meet the other courts and stuff, but she said Nessian gets a lot of page time, so idk. It'd be a good plot twist if her mate wasn't Cassian, but I don't want to see him heartbroken if he falls in love or smth.

Yeahh, i'd love it if they weren't. But 2/3 sisters have mates so maybe Nesta will find her own too... :/ If Cassian is her mate though, then there's probably something special about The Archeron Sisters that we'll learn about in ACOTAR#3.

Yeah, and there is also that part where Feyre asks what would happen if his friends (Cassian, Mor, Azriel, Amren) died in the war, and he said he'd turn Amren back to her real self and ask her to end him... imagine this happens omg

There are a few things that have been hinted at that I think we will see happen in ACOTAR 3:
- I think we will see Rhysand's full beast self. SJM has mentioned it enough that it seems inevitable that we will see it.
- I think Rhysand will go crazy (^ see note above). Remember at the end of ACOMAF where Rhys can feel his powers writhing under his skin, aching to get out? It's written in a way that implies it's just his anger over Feyre's sacrifice that is making his powers go crazy inside him, but what if the king never released the grip on his powers? Or if not that, what if Rhysand is simply forced to avoid using his powers because Hybern is tracking him? Rhys said he would go crazy if he didn't use his powers for some time. This might lead to an out-of-control, possibly beast-form Rhys that would give Prythian a real run for its money. I think all of Prythian will realize how powerful he is, and they will see the monster they all think he is.
- Even though Feyre went to the Spring Court to take it and Tamlin down, I think she will end up saving it - helping Tamlin and the Spring Court heal and inspiring them to fight back, against Hybern and prejudices in place there.
- I think Rhysand will die. I know, I know, it kills me too, but hear me out below.
Let's go back to the Snow White resemblance theory. I think this is very possible, but it might just be Tamlin that's our sleeping beauty. I think Ianthe is the poison. Remember when she asked Feyre about colors for the wedding and Feyre said anything but red (because it reminded her of her horrors)? And of course, there was red at the wedding. Ianthe also continuously picked out red clothing for Feyre to wear. She knew exactly what she was doing - she was furthering Feyre psychosis. She was poisoning her mind.
Now let's look at Tamlin. I'm with you guys - I think he is a tool and would love to see him pummeled. But he's not straight-up evil. Feyre mentions that they both had nightmares and that Tamlin was possibly more broken Under the Mountain than she was; and we're made to feel sorry for Feyre because Tamlin ignores her nightmares and throwing up at night. Well, let's not forget, she ignores his as well. So let's look at it from Tamlin's perspective. He was forced to watch the woman he loves be tortured and tormented, unable to help her, and then forced to watch her die. He was forced to torture his own best friend (he had to whip Lucien). Feyre and Rhys agree that this is the worst form of torture - to watch those you love suffer - versus suffering yourself. And he comes back from Under the Mountain with all the responsibility of repairing his court and re-establishing order on his shoulders, and despite having his powers back, he is just as helpless as before. His friend and his love question his decisions, but without any of the support or love they had for him before. Feyre is lost in her own pain and Lucien, his best friend for centuries, fears him (possibly because of Under the Mountain). The only one who tries to help take his burden away is Ianthe. She tells him he has to be strong or risk losing the loyalty of his Court. She tells him if people find out about Feyre's powers, they will kill her. And he will have to watch her die. Again. In fact, every time we see her talk to Tamlin, he gets worse. She poisons him. And NO ONE tries to help him. Not his best friend. Not the woman he loves. They ignore what is happening to him - the pain he is suffering, that is compounded by Ianthe.
Remember how Tamlin slept with someone else on Calanmai in ACOTAR? He said she wanted him to be rough. What if that was Ianthe? And what if they slept together again on the Calanmai that passed behind the scenes in ACOMAF? There is supposed to be magic generated in that ceremony that goes back into the earth; but I think she is stealing that magic, and poisoning the land. Feyre certainly picked up on a connection between them. I think we could also argue that Tamlin has been "asleep" for quite some time. He did not try very hard to break the curse Amarantha put on his Court. He has also continued to keep in place many of his father's practices, even if he admits his father was not a good man. It's as if his eyes have been closed to what is truly happening around him. Obviously this is a very loose rendition of Snow White, but if anyone is poisoned it's Tamlin ("love can be a poison"). I came to hate him, but I also feel sorry for him. Feyre found someone to help her heal; Tamlin hasn't, and he has been suffering for many more months now - imagining that horrible things are happening to the woman he loves and he is again powerless to stop it - and he may have gone just as crazy as Feyre thought she might go if Rhys hadn't come along. I hope Feyre will see past what he did to her, and not forgive him for it, but help him heal enough to realize his errors. To wake him up. :)
Now to Rhysand. I do think he will die. And I think he somehow knows he will die. Making Feyre his High Lady, training her, forcing her to face her fears and dangers on her own, teaching her to read, introducing her to the many facets of his Court - this all seems an awful lot like he's preparing for her to take over. There's also what he said to Feyre on Starfall, which, as others have said, feels a lot like foreshadowing. There's also that time they were in bed at the Inn and he said, all serious "you know there's nothing I wouldn't do for my people". And it sounded so much like an apology. And how about the fact that Mor keeps mentioning that he is "playing games". She says it in the beginning of ACOMAF - "we played games the last time and we lost". This could be anything; but I think there's one last thing Rhys isn't telling Feyre. Perhaps there is a prophecy about the Cursebreaker and in it her mate dies. Perhaps he will sacrifice himself for the after he sees the pain he caused when he went insane from being unable to use his powers. Either way, it seems to me like he is preparing to meet an end. And if he did, wouldn't his power be transferred to Feyre? That would be one seriously badass powerful high fae. Powerful enough to take down Hybern and the creatures that may have been let loose by the book? Powerful enough to rule all of Prythian?
Don't get too sad, because Rhys dying might not be the end. Feyre can theoretically control the cauldron, which can bring people back to life. She can also control the minds of the high lords, which can also bring someone back. So who's to say Rhys would stay dead?
That's just my theory! This ended up being way longer than I intended. Lol. What do you guys think?

*Sighs whiles slowly comes to the realization that this book is going to kill us.*

I would really love it though if Nesta and Cassian were not mates but some how her love and faith in him after seeing how much he is willing to sacrifice for those around him (something she hates herself for not doing for her sister) is so strong that she refuses to prepare a meal for her true Mate and the they are just like the best couple ever!!( After Rhys and Feyre Obviously)

I have been re-reading ACOTAR (again) and found some interesting tidbits that I didn't catch before.
- Some have argued that Tamlin wasn't a controlling misogynistic jerk in the first book. I have to say I wasn't a big fan of him way before Rhys came along, but I've been catching big red flags in my re-read. Like after Tamlin bit Feyre's neck on Calanmai and she tried to get him to apologize for it, he says "if Feyre can't be bothered to listen to orders, then I can't be held accountable for the consequences." Just thought I'd put that reminder out there, because, yeah, he was a jerk.
- There are a few times Tamlin mentions that if the attor or the naga had hurt Feyre, the results wouldn't have been pleasant for them, and the way he says it makes me think it's more than a threat that he would hurt them. I get the impression that if one of Amarantha's creatures killed the human who could break the curse before the 49 years was up, the curse would have broken and freed them. And maybe that's why Lucien hesitated when she screamed in the woods.
- The Summer Solstice is coming up soon in ACOWAR! The one with the sexy fairy wine that Feyre got drunk on - they were saying this used to be celebrated in the Summer Court, so I think we will get to visit Tarquin again quite soon in book three.
- Shortly after Calanmai, Lucien received a letter from the Winter Court saying that the "blight" took out two dozen of their younglings. "It burned through their magic then broke apart their minds." And I have this awful feeling about it, because breaking minds doesn't sound like something Amarantha ("the blight") could do. It sounds like Rhys's power - like something Amarantha might force him to do. He did say that it cost him - visiting Feyre on Calanmai. And now I'm crying thinking about that possibility. :'(

"* You miiiight get to see some of the other Courts of Prythian. Maybe. Possibly.
* Old characters and new characters and favorite characters and hated characters make appearances. (Okay, that's a crappy teaser.)
* The WAR in the acronym really was intentional. I had a list of possible titles, and waffled between them for weeks with no real love for any of them, but then WINGS AND RUIN just...hit me out of the blue in this lightning-strike moment. And I basically just loved how it captured so much of this book and how it sounded and looked (my amazing editor sent me a draft of the cover with the title on it) and felt. BUT the deal was 100% sealed when I realized the acronym would be ACOWAR. Because I'm a total nerd.
* The cover will be revealed soon...ish. I've seen early drafts and omfg--it might be my favorite yet. There are some super-exciting elements of this cover that I can't wait to share with you guys."

I really hope we get to see the Winter Court and the Dawn Court especially!

This is amazing. I agree with everything you said, I actually see how this all could fit together. Tbh this seems like something SJM would do. I don't want Rhys to die, but I think he will. This book won't have a happy ending, at least not completely. I love the comparison between Ianthe and the poison... it fits so well. Also, what do you think about Ianthe and Tamlin? In the first few chapters of ACOMAF, Feyre said Ianthe looked more like Tamlin's mate than she did... could this be foreshadowing? Do you think anyone from the Inner Circle will die? I know somewhere in ACOMAF Rhys said he'd kill himself if all his friends were dead... could this also be foreshadowing? IDEK this book is killing me.

OH MY GOD. OH. MY. GOD.
Did you just take a peek at the manuscript, @Natalie?!
ALL YOUR PREDICTIONS MAKE COMPLETE SENSE.
(Though extremely sad. But who am I to judge?)
Your passage about Tamlin's POV is extremely, let's say, eye-opening. I could literally feel sympathy and guilt awakening inside of me, and really, I've never thought of how he would feel. And in many ways, TOG and ACOTAR are horribly similar. Like the main love interest (wings, tattoos, etc, etc), and the main love interest teaching the main character to control her magic, etc. But they could also be horribly similar in the agonising parts. Like how in EoS, Aelin knew she wasn't gonna make it in the end, so she married Rowan so the country she loved, Terrasen, would have a legal King. Doesn't Rhys love Velaris too? So what if, like you said, @Natalie, Rhys knew he wouldn't make it, and was actually preparing Feyre to rule over the Night Court, and that's why he made her High lady? High Lady, who had legal and power rights to rule like a High Lord, who would not be seconded.'
I dunno, hat's what I think, THANKS SO MUCH @Natalie for posting such a wonderful essay.

No please don't say Rhysand will die. I don't even want to think about. My poor little baby can't die :'(

You just gave me a friggin heart attack. THIS WOULD JUST BE SOOOOOOOOOOOO... My friend next to me has read acotar an acomaf but she hasnt even finished the first book of TOG. I wanted to share this with her but she JUST WONT UNDERSTAND. When I read this I gasped, screamed, and got all up in my friends face, and then I just breathed heavily for a while. Thank you for this, but sadly I don't think SJM would do this. Although it would be so awesome, I can't see her making a connection like this. This would also mean that Feyre and Rhys were killed one day and I dont even want to think about that. I have not finished the TOG series yet, im only on book 3, but i hope that magic is restored to Erilea... at least so that they can use it without being killed.

Same here.. I don't know if I will last until May!
