The Books, Reading Order and Schedule!

I'm currently reading Mad Ship (finished the Farseer Trilogy). But I'm more of a slower reader (about 1 book per month!) because of my work schedule. I'll try to pick up the pace because this is an exciting way to read with others AND get through these rather lengthy but oh-so-worth-it books. Thanks for organizing!
I will definitely join in starting with Tawny Man, as I've already read Farseer & Liveship! :) This is awesome, Sam!
Thanks Sam for this! There are so many books - it is great to have them all lined up and in order. It is going to be a busy (but very fun), reading year!
Thanks for sorting this out. Looking so much forward to start re-reading the farseer trilogy... can't wait to dive into it again :)
This is just what I need to start the Liveship Trilogy. I really wanna read it but they are so big and that kind of made me stay away but I loved the Farseer so much and Robin Hobb writing style is soooo sooo good! Tkss for this! I will def tag along :)
Thanx for inviting me, Samantha! I am not sure I will be able to manage to read along with you all the way, but I'll try...
I am going to finish my reread of the tawny man trilogy this month which makes starting the live ship trading series perfect for next month. I was hoping to get through these books this year so this is great. Thanks for starting this Sam
Are the different series connected at all? I would love to at least partially participate in the read-a-long, but will I miss information if, for example, I can only read The Farseer and The Fitz & the Fool trilogies?
Here is my excuse to buy first trilogy ;) I have them as ebooks but I'd rather get those lovely UK editions.
this will be the fastest i've read a series, i think. but that's probably a good thing since it usually takes me forever. it might spur me on to finish some of my other series to make room for more, which i was already planning on this month. now i have to stop myself buying all the later books before i've even read the first one...
I have read the first trilogy multiple times, so I will skip the first trilogy. But I will very happily join in from the Liveship traders and onwards. I have read the first two books in that trilogy but not the third so I need a reread.
The same goes for Tawny Man trilogy, where I have read book 1 and 2 but not number three.
And I just bought Dragon Keeper and Fool's Quest, and want to reread most of the serieses anyway, so this is an awesome opportunity!

The Farseer, The Tawny Man and The Fitz and the Fool all follow the Fitz and the Fool. Liveship Traders and Rain Wild Chronicles follow other characters in the same world. If you don't read all the series in chronological order (Farseer, Liveship, Tawny Man, Rain Wild, Fitz & Fool) you will miss a lot of information and might feel lost. Also if you read them out of order and then decide to go back and read a previous series the main plot points might be spoiled.
I'm so excited to get started on all of this reading! I have the Farseer trilogy but I have never read anything by Robin Hobb. Thank you so much for organizing and heading this!
I'm working this summer so no guarantee I keep up but I shall try. I wasn't overly enamoured with Assassin's Apprentice so hopefully it'll go up in my expectations as I go along.

Thanks for the invite! I'm in! I've already read Farseer trilogy but I'm ready to go on the first Liveship book!
I love Robin Hobb! I haven't gotten into any of her books beyond the The Farseer Trilogy and am so excited! Thank you for hosting!
I read the first book in the Farseer trilogy thanks to you Sam! And I thoroughly enjoyed it, I am pumped to read the rest of Hobb's works!
My copy of Assassin's Apprentice is on its way but I am worried that it may not arrive by the start of read along :( *sigh*
Looking forward to starting tomorrow!!!! I have some shopping to do, though, because so far I only have the first trilogy. I'll be visiting HPB tomorrow afternoon.
Okay, i'm in. Started this morning. This will be a great summer.
ok, about to go and start the first book. i'm so excited. im even making vlogs, like, i'm ready for this.
Am a couple of weeks behind but finally started on Assassins Apprentice today! Hopefully I'll be able to catch up to schedule with the help of the audiobooks!
I'm looking forward to starting the liveship traders. I couldn't read it straight after assassins because I wanted more Fitz! I think I'm ready now though.

I've actually recently finished reading the Farseer Trilogy and i'm currently more than halfway through the first book, Ship of Magic, of the Liveship Traders (and really enjoying it!)
I was aiming to get through the trilogy this month so I'll probably be joining the readalong when Tawny Man starts!
I'd still love to contribute in the discussion. Loved The Farseer Trilogy!
